Man I love this pace! That was ~15 years ago 😂 I’m telling ya, I like good food and their sandwiches are good. And the reference was more of an example of pastrami being good paired with non-rye bread than saying Togos is better than ur place! There is honestly no comparison! 🥖 😊

Poor comparison. I really don’t know Sumo that well (didn’t know they existed til last week). Just tried it and really liked em. I’ve made my own pastrami several times and know a quality brisket (beef) my man. And yes, been to Katz’s a few times. It’s very good 😊

First time I ever went; just ordered up a simple roast beef sammie. Dawg was all "$20 please." I was like "WTF that's some sliced meats on some bread."

 

They give it to me and it was like 3 meals worth of sammie. That spot was one of my "farewell" spots to stop by when I finally moved out of Hollywood. The #1 though?

The joys and agony of not being a foodie are endless.

 

Dump the lawnmower grass bag on a pizza and I’m stripping off everything but the pepperoni.  Invite me for Thanksgiving dinner and I’ll tear into it like it was my last meal.   Serve PB&J instead and I’m just as happy.  

Refuse to eat anything that looks like it did alive 10 minutes prior to serving.  That rules out oysters and eating the backside of a lobster using shop tools to get it done.  Lobster bisque and we’re good.  No sucking heads, either.  Barf meter won’t let me go there.  

Don’t want or know what lips, hooves, and rear parts went into my hot dog.  Fry that bologna and bring it on white bread.

 

Give me a coke and a smoke and I’m good to go.  God gave us grilled cheese and I’m not going to disappoint him.   And about the only thing I’ll read on a label once I’m ready to scarf it down is the expiration date.  
 

Milk and cookies should be required eating.  The Italian Restaurant industry needs to end the hate on Thousand Island dressing.  
 

Ok - Let’s eat!
