I did not know that about west coast barracuda.  I didn't mind catching a few in Florida -- they are fun to catch but not good eating. 

 

False albacore have a bunch of different names, tunny, blue bonito, and a few others.  They are small (for saltwater) football-shaped and I think in the tuna family.  Very strong and fight like crazy.  Flesh is really bloody, dark, just awful to eat IMO.  Some guys will bleed them right away, soak them in buttermilk for a day, then smoke them and proclaim them delicious.  No thanks -- if they need all that to taste good they aren't good!  😄

Whole Chanel of lifting.  I’m cracking up because he’s making his wife film him.  So in some videos he gives camera direction.  Finishes curling 220 lbs 3-4 times and drops it and says “ cut that’s it”. As if it can’t be edited and storms off camera 🤣

lol. Wel. It actually started when I watched a “ farmer vs body builder “ challenge video.  Some Mississippi 300-360 lb ers  took it to a group of body builders.  🤣.  The algorithm starts giving me body building junk ever since. I click on the funny ones 🤣.  I sent that same video to my son.  His response was “ looks like it was filmed in the civil war “🤦‍♂️.  Yes son. It actually does.

It’s like it’s hacksaw Jim Dugan grandpa !  3.  Is he taking a bump before each lift ?  As in “cacaine “? 🤨. 4.  Comments in these videos suggest that the algorithm all of the sudden after 9 years has recommended this guy to thousands of us.  Everyone saying they just came from the deadlift 1-3 days ago.  So crazy.

Well I was letting you guys rest---- Why we are at it I eat Spam, Potted meat and Vienna Sausages. I am not much of a fish eater but love Scallops broiled in Butter and Shrimp. I also like fried clams too. I will eat fried Gator tail if it is done right. No one in this area that I have found knows how to do them. Most are overcooked and as chewey as a Good Year tire. In fact speaking of potted meat I am having potted meat and crackers as I type

Good stuff I use it on shrimp I boil here at the house instead of Old Bay. But then sometimes I do use Old Bay. And of course even with Old Bay I have my bottle of Texas Pete. I even carry a bottle of Pete in my car. Like I said before I put that stuff on darn near anything within reason of course

Ha, I buy the Old Bay sauce in the bottle, Good stuff. Actually has flavor. Have not tried the dry

version. Most of the bottled hot sauces just taste like salt and vinegar. Old Bay costs a lot more

but is worth it.....IMO......of course.

Ha ha, don't drink the water just about anywhere. And be careful of who you buy bottled water from. A bunch of ingrates were busted in the D.R. for refilling bottles from the tap and putting new tops on them so they look legit. 

I liked @Soloman1 posts about the plastic in the water, but the parasites and other nasties is a bigger risk imo. 

Might poop out a bottle cap eventually, but better than a week on the bowl in Cartagena.

LOL, I mix it up with sauce vs no sauce. Just depends on my hankerin' when I'm getting

ready to chow down.😀

 

Many of my preferred meat cuts are actually pretty bland; chicken breast, pork tenderloin,

etc. and need something. I do a variety of things with chicken breasts, for example.

 

One thing I do is out of the box thinking........cook up a few skinless, boneless chicken

breasts and then put them on a plate and slather them with real melted butter and real

warm maple syrup. Try it once, guaranteed you eat it again. mmmmmmmmmmm good!

Back in my young SoCal days would eat on a boat in Newport Harbor called the

Reuben E Lee. They served up an Italian fish stew (Cioppino) and a French fish

stew (Bouillabaisse). Both were really really good.

I still say we’d get along great. I’m boring as well. I don’t even like Italian that much. Just give me a good burger. I’d rather eat that than anything else. 
Fortunately the Mrs is almost as picky as me.
