Same here with the cemetery. Losing a pet is one of the few times I will cry like a baby.

@aenemated, my condolences as well. I know how special our dogs are, I still miss mine. I thought you would appreciate this picture of my last dog Ringo. His full kennel name was Gordonsgems Ringo Starr.

Yep I have one with 4 in it now. 2 of them were older Dogs we adopted because they were old and no one else wanted them. One died because he was attacked by a Pit Bull while my wife was walking him on a leash. The Pit was not supposed to be in the park anyhow but the Park is not enforcing the rules. One of the reasons when the wife and I are outside walking the Frenchie we do pack heat. Even at 5 AM when I take him in our yard to do business I am packing because among other things Coyotes have been spotted in the area. I have not personally seen any but the rumors persist and I will no longer take chances. And in case anyone thinks this I am not anti Pit Bull. I have friends who have them and they are good dogs in general.

On the epitaph it was specified in the lease no pit bulls and other "aggressive" breeds. I found out from our manager when our incident occurred that the park and the other 3 they own were being sued by some Pit Owners Association over that deal. Ok I told her I have the solution the next time it starts to happen as in both my wife and I have a CWP. Yep get me once and it will not happen again. One person found out we were packing and tried to raise a stink over it. They did call the Police who told them basically the same thing as in the Law states as long as we have property leased in the area that we could even open carry.

I just had a dude do that and I finally had to say “ bro you asleep “?   He was standing hip to hip with me as I ran my card.   He replies “ huh ?  “.  I just let it go and said “ thought you looked like you were in another world “.  Instead of the punch to the jewels that I initially thought about 🤣.   What is wrong with people ?

Sincerely sending the condolences.  That Tasmanian Devil you see under my name will be turning 13 soon and she too always tries to get her mush in the sun.  At least they all go to heaven.

He gave off the vibe that I was in his way.  As if I should hurry up.  People.  You can’t eat em.

My grocery stores have upgraded to wireless price gun scanners at the self checkouts. And now that I know you don’t have to place ur items on the checkout counter after scanning, I’ve made checking out like a game! Just the other day the employee that watches over the self checkout area gave me a “wow, very impressive. We should hire you” after watching me “work”. I enjoy the grocery store 🛒 All those amazing food items at ur fingertips, AND a game at the end???

Leo would always sleep on the rug by my side of the bed. This morning was the first time I woke up at home without her there in a decade. 😕 Tough start to the day but we're hanging in there.

I don’t have an issue doing it. I have an issue not escalating it if they react.  So it’s a defense measure to just try hard to ignore them.  
 

Keep in mind. I’m the guy who was once at a “ whiteout “ football game where unbeknownst to me kids were throwing flour in the air on every 1st down - on a rainy night ……you can imagine the mess. It was all over every person.  And they all just sat there as if they didn’t see it.  I got enough and got up and confiscated all the flour  from my section , and took it to the principal ( was an away school. Not ours.  With a mixed seating stadium. ). and dropped it on his feet.  and told him I’d call Monday to let him know where to send my refund.  I did.  And he gave me lip.  So I called the district office.  And they acted shocked that it happened.  
 

maybe that makes me a Karen ?  Not sure I care.  But it was restrained compared to what I wanted to do.  in public , that’s assault.  Why is it not at a football game ?   I’m not sure I agree with it being assault, but society should make up their minds.  Selective enforcement drives me bananas.

Yeah, I’m able to control that. And honestly (and not a 💪🏼 or being cocky) at 6’4” and 240, it typically never goes there. If it does, I’ll make sure I don’t strike 1st.

I was talking with my engineer buddy that worked at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory running projects he’s still not allowed to talk about (as in, he’s frikin brilliant) and he agrees that communication is about getting a message/point across. Yep. I’m not talking about even striking someone. Just hate to be mad.  Being mad makes me madder. 🤣.  I’m just too polite in person. People mistake kindness for weakness.  And that’s when the steam pressure builds.  It’s very rarely returned.

I am the exact same way. I also give people space too that are in front of me. In no way do I even want someone thinking I am trying to scam their info.

Around here the tourons are always in a hurry and want to crowd someone. Had a touron lady crowding me in Kroger last summer. I said something to her about it. She said the canned lame tourist excuse. Well we are here on vacation and in a hurry. I told her my canned answer. Well I live here and retired and am not in a hurry. I also gave her 2 pieces of advice. Maybe plan the vacation better or vacation closer to home next year
