what is cooking alcohol? as a non chicken or eggs eating person the only thing I would like is the peas but it still looks nice.

Just never could eat eggs of any style and took many a butt whipping from the old man for refusing them. (back in the old days you did not say "no" to the old man).

Then back in the Commercial fishing days we were quite poor and the the wife would cook fish and chicken every way possible, one night I woke up at 4pm (fishing nights) and she set a plate of chicken in front of me and lit it on fire, that was it, I have never eaten chicken on purpose since then unless it is the only option.

 

She was just trying to be creative and for a 20 something year old cook it was a good effort, but I was angry she wasted good booze and the fact she had to light it on fire to eat it was the last straw..hard to believe in August it will be 47 years with that cook.

Musta been tuff in ur serious lifting days. As eggs are one of the most popular b’fast protein sources. And chicken is a staple for most! 💪🏼

Honestly I added 2 types of cooking alcohol, one was a cooking sake which has a bit of a bite to it, the other is called Mirin, which is sweeter and is really common in Japanese cooking.

ha ha, during the days of trying to gain weight I would drink raw eggs. Really no taste to them, now the thought of it makes me queasy. Creatine / protien shakes and eating practically all the time.

 

Those were the days, lasted until I was about 40 then the reverse affect was desired. Had to lose 60 lbs or die from high blood pressure.

Now I have a bit of ice cream and gain 5 lbs and have to work twice as hard for very little muscle gain. Strange machine this body of ours.

I graduated in 70. I can't imagine there being cell phones so my parent's could check on where I was. 😅

I play some video games with my sons! We get loud as hell on Mario Kart! But waiting in line, I don’t do that for anything anywhere any reason.

I have the retro subscription (or something like that, whatever it’s called) on our switch. It’s got a whole bunch of the original Nintendo games. I can play Donkey Kong or Link & stuff like that……..

 

……….If one of the grandkids is around to get it set up for me!
