People divided after man’s eerily dystopian conversation with ChatGPT ‘girlfriend’ is exposed on subway

And here I am …. Remembering my grandpa on Dday. Their generation could never have imagined how their kids would waste  their sacrifice.  Some see this and think “ look how low men have sunk “.  Some truth there. But let’s go to the root. It’s how low the female species has sunk that’s caused it. Having a 16 year old son is a terribly exhausting experience right now.  For a desirable boy , it’s a minefield of danger.   They  all want what they claim to hate. But they want  it to destroy it. Or defile it. Lead it astray   Ironically. They’ve become the very “ aggressive perverts “ that they for century’s tried to avoid.

I’d have to post screen shots to make you believe what a girl has said to my son , about his parents, and how he should not be working toward a future etc. and how he should just run off with her. Not an isolated scene. This is the 3rd girl I’ve read such texts from.  He shows me of his own choice.  We’ve done a good enough job that he understands his worth.  And understands where he wants to go in life.  I’m just highlighting the female chaos quotient , and its multiplier x4 at least since I was his age.    The above picture is no shock to me.   Guys aren’t being taught to avoid females.  Not by me. I’d love to have grandkids before he’s 30. But where will their Mother  be found ?  🤣.  No idea.  Notice Mother is capitalized.  I’m not speaking of a birthing person.  I’m speak of MoM. I don’t think they make them anymore.

NBA finals starting.

But I’ll be watching Texas vs Texas Tech in the Women’s College World Series  🥎

TT pitcher got a $1 mil + NIL deal to leave Stanford. Games have been outstanding! 🙌🏼

Watched entire playoff's, The Pacer's have been the real surprise, Last night, they came back from 15 down, took the lead w/ .3 sec on the clock. It's the fourth time they did such a late comeback. They play 11 guys over 15 min a piece, unheard of in modern NBA. Big guys that play small, can bang three's & play in the paint. OKC is favorite but my money is on them.

I’ve been watching most of the playoffs as well. But actually enjoyed the softball 🥎 more last night. It’s only the best of 3 and will be over soon enough. Then I’ll watch the bball.

*I did record the game last night and the finish was crazy! I woulda sworn at one point OKC was up by 20 no?

Same. People slept on Indy and didn’t realize what their record was the last part of the season. They put it together at the right time and have a couple of guys who know how to win on the biggest stage….takes time to learn that! If Cleveland had not been such a MASH unit in that series….I don’t know if the outcome would have changed, but the series would have been much better basketball and entertainment.

The Knicks series….look, the NYK roster has flaws like dirty drawers and they reached their ceiling by putting Boston out. No depth plus a coach who gives zero flips about depth, you’re not winning a title that way.

As a Knick fan, we didn't know the depth because the coach never figured that out but when he had to, it was actually decent. In my view he did not deserve firing over it. deserved 1 year with ultimatum.

In 35 years of NBA fandom, the Bulls are still the best team i ever watched. What was notable was they used their bench, all the time, they had the apex player, a great starting rotation but they never hesitated to rotate out, in season or playoffs. That dynasty averaged 100 games a year. Phil Jackson & maybe two other coaches i can think of abide by this. The rest tighten at playoffs or under utilize bench all year. Carlyle is another, has done something special here. Big, fast, athletic, deep & unselfish.

What’s your best method for the research ?   With my grandfather it gets hard as far as searching him specifically.  . His records were lost in the great records  fire ( anybody who’s searched ww2 records knows about it ). .   I know verbally what he said his path was. It would be neat to read about it and men who served with him .

Indeed. I’ve been an NBA fan my whole life, only place I disagree is I would have made that coaching change in NY now, but I’m also severely biased as I’m just not a Thibs fan. I think Budenholzer is going to get that job. I can’t say if that is the right decision but that’s what I think will happen.

Those Bulls teams were the best I ever saw and it’s frankly not that close. The 80s Lakers (and for a hot minute my Atlanta Hawks) remain my favorite teams to watch….but Peak Bulls were Peak Basketball.

Love to help you. If you know what his unit was or his Army Service Number (ASN) it's a good start. Message me and maybe I can help you. I was fortunate(?) that dad's group was "famous" for their deeds and for 300 of them becoming POWs on the same day while he was away. His buddy, who was in the brig at the time after the MP's picked him up in a whore house wrote a diary and that helped me a lot.  🤣

I'll agree to disagree, lol. In NYC, no one is mentioning him. The John Bryant guy seems to be best  & sanest option. He has history with Knicks of last 5 years. if they did not have him on board before firing Thibs, they are really off the rails stupid.

i always liked Thibs, liked him since his 1st gig as HC. Despite his shortcomings too. Reminds me of Pat Riley but instead of looking like a HF manager he carries himself like a butcher. But he needed to grow & be more expansive as a coach, he deserved one more year to do that, he brought a franchise that was two decades lost to within a lucky bounce of a Finals appearance. The roster only has had 8 months together, they need more time to ferment & gel as a unit. The Pacer's have had same roster for two years. The blame belongs with everyone. The Knicks now fired a proven coach, so now who is really going to want that hot seat? They are talking of big trades like acquiring Durant, (oh please no, he hates NYC), they are behaving like the lost idiots they once were, doomed for same result, fail. I would feel much better right now if everybody said, "we all failed & we will atone" but that's not the message, it's blame, fire and splash the headlines with big moves. That's NY sports for you, it's been a real low percentage play too.

Man the NHL is making it easy to root against all the Canadian teams these playoffs.  Every time they score a goal they cut to the outdoor watch parties for Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, etc.  Woohoo everyone and their mom gets excited.

When a US-based team scores?  Nothing.  No cutting to watch parties or anything.  I do know they exist.  Tbh I don’t think anybody’s watch parties are particularly newsworthy for tv, but the one-sidedness on TNT/TBS/ESPN is hard to ignore.

As a resident of Florida but born in the Northeast it still amazes me hockey is big here, must be because most of the population are transplants.

I can't imagine how expensive it must be to power and maintain an Ice rink in mid - high 90 deg temps. Must be proof that with enough insulation anything is possible.

I see this person doing their morning run, they are running up one of the streets on my hood that goes up to the big park.

It’s all uphill and as they get closer I see it’s a woman, then I notice it’s definitely an older woman, then as she gets closer, I see she’s like 85 years old!!

Then I see she’s wearing a weighted backpack 🎒 😳. And she’s moving, solid pace right up the hill, I give her the thumbs up 👍 and she laughs, doesn’t seem out of breath at all!

Very inspirational and perfect timing to see her cruisin right up the hill like that

Cheers doc, we actually like in an apartment building thats a converted industrial space. But overall the whole neighborhood is smaller buildings, nothing like what you think of when you think of NYC.

Lotta good food here for sure 👍

Golf club ho submission of the month (or at least this month).

After years of blades and “players” irons I bought a set of i530’s off the internet at Carls Golfland. (Those guys have their web site process together and give good phone service. Friendly too).

Also went with, gasp, regular flex TT Golds.

I tested a few with friends clubs and liked everything except maybe the distance dispersion which I’m still kind of leery about. Gaining some lost distance is a bonus, even though (discounting the definite trampoline face effect) it’s still a numbers/loft game. A 7 iron is 29°?  Really?  Pretty soon I’m going to need a gap b/w gap and sand wedges.

Best buddy and fierce opponent - whadya hit there DT?

T - smoothed that 8 iron 195 big guy

If you don’t count the Eye2’s (which didn’t carry any descriptive category label when they came out) I’ve never played a “players distance” or “improvement” set before.

Anyway, off to the range later today if weather holds. We’re in the middle of wettest spring /early Monsoon ever.

Jeebus, I am delusional looking at blades. For some odd reason I just want a another set 3-PW so it plays like a 4-AW (more or less distance wise).

Been surfing all day on and off, looking at Miura Baby blades, the Proto Concept C01 TB (leader in the clubhouse looks wise) Muria KM 700, Titleist 620 MB, Wilson staff MB, Honma Rose Proto MB, there are tons of very nice looking irons out there and frankly ball striking is reasonably good enough to play any of them but then again is it...then I got an email from Callaway for 50% trade bonus and 10% off the TCB irons, which I did want just not the raw which is all they have.

Also next month more new stuff comes out so more things to consider. 1st world problems all the way around.

Good thing I am not drinking this evening so all is safe for the round tomorrow. I did get in a Autoflex AF 405 shaft for the Driver to try out, could be a few yards to gain. So far they have been very good for me, figured why try a bit lighter (more to what SS is recommended for me). Playing the longest Course in the rotation tomorrow that is pretty wide open so tee it high and let it fly so to speak.
