Yeah, I’ve had a lot of pellet n stick BBQ. I’d say it’s akin to telling the difference between Endo forged n Hoffman forged Titleist blades! 😂

It went on at 11pm and will take ~16hrs. Staying up all night n maintaining a stick burner is tempting!! 🙃

I can load up the egg and set it at 200 +/- 10 deg. and it will last right at 14-15 hrs. Perfect for most bigger briskets in my experience. But it has to be good quality lump charcoal with big hunks, not the little crappy pieces in most bags lately.

 

Grilling some steaks later today, then off to the D.R. for another work trip. Played 18 today and did OK 43 / 36 on a pretty tough Course. Nearly had a hole in one, PW from 124 stopped 6" from the hole right on line. 1st even par back nine on this Course.

I do love that argument, having had mulitple sets of Endo forged, Miura, and Alpha JDM, little did I know the Cleveland 688 blades were endo ( I think) and tons of Callaway cast and forged (had the 2018 APEX blades that were Miura) I have played crappy golf with all of them and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.

 

Feel wise a good shot is a good shot, yes I have experienced the butter / nothing feel with forged irons and frankly basically the same feel with any of the rest of them....go figure.

Pretty sure the Srixon 5 n 7s are also Endo forged. If ya get along with the soles on those they are a hard one to beat.

Not surprisingly I do no like the Srixon soles, tried them several times and just does not work for me. Not sure if that means I am too steep or too shallow or just inconsistent.

We officially hit 12 weeks yesterday. With the way these recent times have been dominated by doctor visits, planning, and various other details in advance of our pending new arrival, it's hard to believe that we just chilling out and having a good ol' time at the RBC Heritage back in April. Feels like two years ago instead of two months ago!

 

Mrs. RoverTiger has been dealing with some predictable nausea and fatigue over the last couple of weeks, but that seems to be easing. Hopefully she'll be able to hit the range and course again soon.

 

But the latest big news is that the genetic testing results came back today. Most importantly, every genetic risk factor came back as low. Also, the results let us know with 95% certainty that a potential LPGA member is on the way. 😎

Sitting in a meeting where everyone is speaking Spanish trying not to fall asleep, decided to check on the status of the TCB iron since the 1st set came in 4 days and low and behold it says "back ordered" 

 

Emailed the guy that has sold me dozens of sets of irons and woods and it is the grips, so it appears they would have just let it sit there without a call or email to ask me to change or wait. I was quite disappointed in Callaway for such a easy fix. 

 

Oh well, changed grips and they should be done this week.

Identical experience with Ping and same WTF? reaction from me. Come on now, be better than that, I’m not going to let my custom WRX order languish because the Crossline Oversized is back ordered. Email and let me know man!
