I don't collect clubs, but I hate to throw them out.  I have 8-9 Scottys, none of the tour edition, a few zebras, an old acushnet bullseye, a rossi, and some randoms.

 

I also have 2 sets MP37s, a set of MP4s, a couple of drivers.

 

There was a hot minute when my buddy who owned Play It Again would call me when he got in a 35" Scotty and I would buy it for $100, so I collected for about a year which is how I ended up with those.  My son gave me a TEI Longneck his buddy didn't want and he said he could have it.  That was a couple of years ago, and now that I think about it, it got cut down and my wife uses it so I guess I don't have a longneck anymore.

Always kind of wanted a CT Scotty, but had 5 or so regular ones and could not do any better with them so figured why spend 5 times as much for the same putter with a different logo. And the scotty stock finish sucks, it stains up real bad here in Fl. for some reason.

I have only paid full price for 1 of them, two were gifts, the rest (I gave one away) were $100 used.  I don't know if I would pay it now.  But in '02 the Futura was a game changer for me, in fact I used it until '21.

I dont think the difference is as big as people make it. I have a 22hc friend that hit my old blades better than his own clubs. He was a picker, thick soles made his contact worse

I’m still trying to figure that out myself. Best I can find after a light google (I glaze over after about 2.5s) is that there have been a bunch of recalls and some battery issues. But ones that were $120k new are going for $50/60k after a year or so. Obviously some of that is EV depreciation and some of that is luxury car depreciation, but still. 
 

Honestly what I really want is a 718 but I need a daily driver. Something I can put a golf bag AND an electric push cart in. And also go to Costco. I’ve never owned a Porsche and it just might be the perfect middle aged crazy time to get one, but I’m having trouble picking out the right model.

Can't speak for a push cart but my bag (either my stand bag or cart bag) fits just fine in the trunk of my 987.2 Cayman. I picked that one specifically because it was just old enough to still be largely analog ... but not too old as to be potentially problematic. 

 

Having had both a Cayman AND a 911 (had a 997.1 for many years) ... I can firmly say the Cayman is a better car. Beyond the looks and performance; it actually is BETTER for cargo space than the "4 seater" 911. That back seat is the only place aside from the passenger seat for a golf bag and it's a huge pain to get 'em in and out. Cayman though?

Saw this on the interwebz today and it cracked me up.

I was getting my clubs re-shafted for the second time this year due to my increased swing speed. After I had dropped my bag with the shaft master, I decided to try out a few drivers in the simulator just for fun. Naturally, it was a masculine stripe show. A crowd gathered, and I began to feed off the energy of all the masculine guys admiring my form. My hips thrusted hard, powering the engine of my stroke as I nuked ripper after ripper with a PING G430.

“Why can’t you hit it like he does?” I overheard a woman ask her boyfriend in a hushed tone, “he’d outdrive you with a 7 wood.”

I disagree.  It just lined up better (for me) than the two ball.  I forgot, I have never used a two ball in the wild, but I have one or two somewhere.
