I disagree.  It just lined up better (for me) than the two ball.  I forgot, I have never used a two ball in the wild, but I have one or two somewhere.

Oh, it’s a 💯 disagree.
The guy was just a total SC hater. You know, the members in every SC thread here that post just to remind everyone how it’s just a copy of an Anser etc.

The upper part of the description is right but lower 5 lines are switched. People that think it's right aren't reading the whole thing.😄

After 25ish years of playing, that’s my findings Jim. Basically the same scores with whatever set I play. 620 MBs to GI T300s.

So I just play what I like to look at and what feels the best.

Yeah, that's a real thing, it's not a huge difference between, MB's & PCB. Most anyone can play classic forged from 32* and higher, the issue becomes baseline gapping above & below that. But that's on player, you cannot gap distances across a set it's not the design. I'm 62 at some point i may want higher launch & lighter but not yet. Play Nike VR Pro's , a truly modern MB. Like playing old DCI's MOI wise. Dead center CG across set. They are not Hogan Personal's. Pretty happy with them.

Possible the tour versions were but pretty sure mine are Endo heads which is just fine. Clubs are built to perfection, length & weight speaking. I'm quite surprised how good they are. Crazy accurate & good pop.

I think you are right, I got them confused. I like endo better, softer

Miura or Endo, can’t go wrong with either!
Funny, use to be a lot more “who forged ‘em?!” talk here @ WRX. I suppose with so many of the heads now not being true 1 piece forged, it’s just not as prevalent.
It did come up recently w/the re-release of the Titleist 680s.

I think Mike Taylor discredited that rumor already. Endo makes more sense, they are the usual name-behind-the-name when it comes to great forgings.

I found the Miura to feel a bit more dense, could be the way they spin weld the hosel on. But you are correct as always, center any of them and they feel great. I have read that sound is feel, but as deaf as I am it is all in the hands for me.

Now I am looking at the Grindworks PR 202 CB / MB, just for fun of course. I am NOT changing again so soon LOL, need to let the TCB rust up at least. But I am on the way to the golf shop to look at wedges, maybe the high toe TM or Cleveland full face.

PR 202. Is that the head Patrick Reed plays?

Yeah, the clubs had sticker "assembled in Thailand" on shafts. Endo is there. I have Miura's, think they are top shelf, have Endo's, top shelf too. The VRP II has an ingot of tungsten embedded in forge. very solid feel, not unlike Miura. The whole "made by Miura" mystique can be baffling. T-Stamps were done in China (Virage, they're nice too) but for some reason Miura did release (500 sets) of JDM "red T's". So how is it they got to do that? Maybe they did do Tiger's? Dunno.

I’m still trying to figure that out myself. Best I can find after a light google (I glaze over after about 2.5s) is that there have been a bunch of recalls and some battery issues. But ones that were $120k new are going for $50/60k after a year or so. Obviously some of that is EV depreciation and some of that is luxury car depreciation, but still.

Honestly what I really want is a 718 but I need a daily driver. Something I can put a golf bag AND an electric push cart in. And also go to Costco. I’ve never owned a Porsche and it just might be the perfect middle aged crazy time to get one, but I’m having trouble picking out the right model.

Im considering a Taycan myself. I will need a car early next year….my lease is up in March, and a 22/23 CPO is a pretty tempting choice. Even the smaller battery would be fine for my usage, and they charge very quickly so all the hand wringing about range is not an issue for me.

The early ones are more prone to a battery issue and there was a heater recall as well. I’m not resolved on this and I’m still all over the place on selection but the Taycan is definitely in the running.

One thing I won’t ever do is buy a preowned one from YinzUzedCarz or a place like that. I’ll buy from a Porsche dealer, maybe have to travel to get it, and that is just fine.

There are lots of others in the running though. I need to decide what I really want and what I’m really willing to spend. 😕

“Ingot of tungsten embedded in them”. Reminds me of the ceramic embedded in the ProtoC C01 TBs. Eventually would love to try those.

I don’t love road trips any more but no choice for this trip, flights just weren’t an option.

I had a great experience driving 400 miles yesterday in my EV. Surprisingly so. The newer EA chargers are appearing at many Sheetz stations, which is great. They are more convenient, seem more reliable, and are fast in this hot weather. Yesterday I was pulling 300kW for a good portion of the charge. That is FAST.

Much better experience than even a year ago when a charge stop often meant a lengthy detour to a Wal Mart parking lot. Screw that. Pull off interstate, go to Sheetz, plug in, take a leak, get a coffee, wash windshield, get rolling.
