We were supposed to do Paris/Switzerland/Rome two years ago but it got postponed. It is still very much on the books.

Had a great range session, feeling full of myself afterwards. took cell out of bag and parked it on step of GMC pickup. Returned to work, hour later realized what i did. Re-traced steps, called my cell, on 2nd call, guy answers, says "i'll bring to you". Makes a 15 mile trip and drops it off. Miguel is an Uber driver and found it on side of road, a mile away from range. Gave him what i had on me, and a pack of Cutwater. Pretty thankful, a better side of humanity won the day.

That’s awesome. Glad he was rewarded for his kindness. Two good humans in that story.

Uber driver/pack of Cutwater… Miguel picked up a DUI later that evening and lost his job. Seems no good deed goes unpunished 😕

Funny….few weeks ago I go to the liquor store, then home. Couple hours later I go to pick up takeout, en route, no wallet. ☠️ Call home, the missus tells me “no wallet here.”

 

I get a call from a phone # I don’t recognize, but I decide to answer. It’s the local police 👮 telling me the wallet had been picked up in the parking lot, brought inside to the general manager of the Wine & Liquor Warehouse, and if I could identify myself he’d be happy to return it. 
 

I go in and sure enough there it is, including all of the cash. 
 

I made another purchase. 😁

76 deg under a clear blue sky I played in the Wed 9 hole 2 man BBall Chooseups last night.  Had my 14 yo grandson caddy for me for the second time. I made a par on the 9th hole for a net  3 1/2 to win by 1/2 a stroke. $100 for the team. My caddy doesn't golf but he  loved the $10 I paid him to tote the bag and his $5 share of the winnings.

Yep. I know. But what the heck. The old saying that it always happens in 3s.  Why on earth is it always correct?  I’ve seen that happen since I was a kid. The reaper doesn’t make single subject trips.  Cindy lauper and Farris beuller better keep their heads down if 80s icons are this trips target.

If you are a male of a certain age, Hulk Hogan was a big deal. He was one of those people who you felt would always be there. I wish I could have stayed that naive kid and never learned what he was really like. But I think that goes for most of our heroes.
