Don’t forget balancing her checkbook after getting the cashier to write it out.  That’s my father n laws move. Bro has a credit card .  And a debit card that he thinks is a credit card. But won’t use either.  Unless it’s at an estate sale.  He will pluck it down then and buy it all.

Ya reminded me…I grew up in a “swell” town in the NY burbs, around 3,000 people, sorta preppy type place

 

So, the people who live across the street from my buddy down the block move out, we didn’t know if they sold or what, the house sat empty for a bit then

 

one day we at his house and we see this big black Cadillac parked in the driveway of the house. Few days later we see this big dude in a suit like wiping the car down and 

 

the guy is strapped!
 

Got a piece on his belt, lol, not exactly a  common thing in my hood 

 

So, we like “cool”! We 13 years old, go outside like, “Hi, are you the new neighbors?”

 

Guy was nice says hi, he’s like no, I’m the driver 🤔 

 

Then a day or two later we in front and see this other guy on the side lawn of the house, looks like a young mobster, dressed in like designer jeans and a silk shirt, hair slicked back, but what’s interesting is

 

hes got these two big Dobermans with him! He’s got a steak and he’s trying to teach them not to eat it til he commands them 🤣

 

We like, “cool”!  So we say hi, he was nice, talked a bit. 
 

We didn’t see him much but on the 4th of July he was blowing up all these M-80s!

 

Then a few months later he was gone. 
 

Musta been witness protection or something lol

It’s been an adjustment for sure.
Besides the Blizzards being only a 3 min walk away. My fav part thus far is being able to watch ‘The View’ 3 hours sooner! 😊

Pretty sure when my old ride officially goes 🍋, I’ll go full Midwest & do a F 150 🛻

A few years back, my neighbor at the industrial park says, "i bought a garbage container business". He did insulation work and he was pretty happy with his acquisition. One day guy pulls up in Lincoln w/ NY plates, has the bling and silk shirt with slicked hair. He starts banging on neighbor's door, doesn't stop & he 's banging and yelling harder & louder. Dude was postal. After 10 minutes of it, he leaves. About a week later, neighbor got rid of that business, lol.

Dominoes keep falling my dudes.  Lab putters sold. Golf Wrx sold.  Now ryno Ryne Sandberg is dead at 65.  All kids have a favorite baseball player. He was mine. I was a cubs fan .  Had to be different.  We had wgn.  So I was a cubs fan.  And he was my guy. Cancer sucks.  And I’m about finished with the internet for today.

Yikes,big boy weight. I am sitting in the hotel room trying to nap. 4 hrs sleep and not all at once. Probably should not have had the 3 large coffee's but Chilean coffee is good.

 

I thought I was doing something with 80's but again old is old. Have to scale back and protect the back, MRI is next to see what can be done.

Yes it test levels.
And yes, I legit typically watch the intro of The View on the regular and get a lil bummed when I see it’s a rerun. The majority of the ladies live in La La land no doubt. But think Whoopi calls it like she sees it and I generally agree w/her takes. She will regularly make fun of what they require her to do even tho she is essentially the show! Haha

Unpopular opinion in the Lounge, but I really enjoyed Whoopi as a comedienne in the 90's.  Once I got out of college I really lost touch with her and have never seen the View since it's on when I work, but she was both funny and intelligent then.

 

But people change, heck Ted Nugent went off the rails.  Actually, was he ever on the rails?  I am not sure, but back then they protected the news makers.
