Just got off the phone with a golf bud. He sold his Mizzy JPX850s and bought a brand new

set of Taylormade Stealth irons. I had nothing to do with it. He hoing all on his own and he's

not a WRXer. 

 

I probably should warn him that he just stepped onto a slippery slope, but I can't right now

cause he's all happy and excited. BTW, he was the guy in that photo that wasn't smiling.

He's smiling now. Waves to his wife and says "hi honey, I got a new set of irons....but...........

However, business wise… you look at what Gates did and Musk is arguably in a different league

 

Gates got in just as the PC industry was just taking off. Open field prime for the picking. He got to market fast with a robust but not fantastic product and dominated via shrewd management and leveraging the monopoly 

 

 

Musk entered an industry that had been around for 100 years with an international set of dominant players. He created a product far faster and far better and has blown all their doors off because people love the product and it’s superior to anything out there. Yes, subsidies, so what? The government bailed out the US car makers and the foreign governments subsidize the crap out of their companies. And he still best the tar out of them all

It’s funny. In the last few months I’ve had 3 different 30 somethings tell me about Bill conspiracy theories. Last week I learned he has control of Starbucks and his poison beans are a tool in taking over the world! I smiled, took a sip of my coffee ☕️ and got back to my workout 🏋🏽

We are on the same page here. Just keep in mind what I said above. Ppl have personal issues with these guys. Their intelligence isn’t in question.

I try to stay away from the poisoned Starbucks beans which tend to be over-roasted.  Prefer the independent coffee shops.  Though I do own two Starbucks coffee cups bought from the original store in Pike Place Market.
