They all can hit the ball, but not equally. Some are better iron players than others. Par-3’s are usually iron shots. That’s seems pretty darn obvious to me. 🙂

Anyone who plays golf for their livelihood strikes it well, but off the top of my head, these are the guys I've seen up close who were just different.  I'm not going to name Trevino, Woods, Moe, or Hogan because this isn't the Hogan's Humpers forum  😄

Ah, first Central Alabama Golf tournament round of the new year tomorrow at the Lake 

Course at Grand National. Supposed to be 66F. 

 

We were supposed to play our first round last week but it was cancelled due to a forecast  

15F low in the wee hours. High was gonna be only 38F so the frost delay might have lasted  

most if not the entire day.

 

As usual though, around here warmer temps in the winter come with storms coming in from

the gulf. Tomorrow will be great and then we're supposed to have rain for several days 

starting Wednesday. Good timing for this round anyway.🙂

Like most, I will “judge” these players for things/actions, that in the grand scheme of things just don’t matter. But hey, this is social media after all.  😆 

 I had no ill will towards him besides the team he plays for. (Not that he had much of a choice initially). But his lil temper tantrum after the ref correctly called Toney for lining up offsides was a bad look. Whaaaaa 😭

Ya that was very lame 🤣. PM seems kinda weird actually. But he does some very cool stuff out there and for the most part, very stand up/goes about his business.

Was definitely an incredible play. Unfortunately for the Chiefs the rules of offsides are black and white. Patrick’s quote after the game is simply pathetic IMO. So it’s only offsides if the player won’t be in the HOF… 👌🏼 Got it 🙄 Different rules for different players is an NBA thing. Wrong sport Mahomie! 😂

I can't stand those Allstate commercials with Mr. Mayhem or what ever his name is.

 

Those are some really irritating commercials.❌

 

Allstate always sending us letters wanting our homeowners policy business.  A friend of

mine has them and they jacked his premium way up at his last renewal. They actually

said they were jacking up his rate in Alabama due to all the claims in Florida. Uh no,

that's BS. ❌

So above I mentioned the Clinton Walker House. It’s a small (1,400 sq ft) house that is pretty much as close to the ocean as you can build a house. The waves actually spray the windows when the seas are big. Kinda has a special place in my heart as I see it regularly on our trips down to Carmel. It’s on Scenic Rd. and easily observed as you walk by. One time that stands out to me was a few years ago. Just as we were walking by the gate opens and a tall blonde all by herself pulls into the driveway in a bright red Ferrari (but of course). It was like a scene from a movie. Very cool that the house stayed in the original owners family up until just last February. Still appears to be uninhabited since the sale as the last time we were there the big main room looked empty and in a state of renovation. I’m sure some of you have walked by it as well 😊

The commercial with Jake, Mahomes and Andy eating fast food is another bad one. Andy asks for the nuggies (chicken nuggets). When I see him on the sidelines now I can’t not imagine him with a pocket full of nuggies to munch on during the game! 😩

Probably, but I don't remember it. I have not been in Carmel since '86. Can you see

it from the 17 mile drive? If not maybe I haven't seen it.

The State Farm commercials have never bothered me. There are far worse insurance commercials

on TV than theirs.
