Once you say you have insurance, the pharmacy is forbidden from telling you the cash price to maintain their contract with the insurance company.

 

Let's use Metformin, a common drug for diabetes, as the example.

 

Metformin costs the pharmacy about $2.

If you had no insurance, the cash price would be $4.

You pay $4 and the pharmacy makes $2.

 

The pharmacy puts in your insurance info, and now you have a co-pay of $10.

You think it's a good deal. Only $10.

 

From that co-pay, $7 goes back to the insurance company and the pharmacy gets only $3.

The pharmacy now makes only $1, and you just paid $6 more than if you had no insurance. But, you have paid for it.

 

Some people like to say the system is broken. It isn't. It's working exactly as designed.

After years of Samsungs, switched to IPhone and it far superior imo in every important way…for me/us that is. 
 

Cant imagine why they would take this on, making a car

 

I mean they got 160 billion in cash-on- hand sitting around doing nothing for shareholders. And they have product development experience second to none.

It was not bad considering I had not done much business out of there in the last 3 years. They did ask on that and I explained why. Told them they could check with the State industrial commission and court records about my accident. Of course I know they had checked tax filings on the LLC before talking to me. My accounting bud said had I done more business I would have gotten more but he advised take the money and run. Besides at this stage of life I do not want the hassles of arguing and taking time out to argue. When this is said and done and I am paid off I am dissolving the LLC and turning in the wholesale license. I am done with it period

I have Aetna and so does my wife. Now I know why we got the calls and mailings wanting us to switch our stuff to CVS. We have been at Kroger for years. In fact one call the person sorta hinted around in the future they may not cover our scripts at Kroger. I told her the day they done that we would find another company. I told her it was not like we got stuff in the mail everyday from other companies wanting our business. She promptly hung up and I have not heard squat since. We did Aetna because our agent is local and I know him well. I called him and he told me not to worry about it. I also told him what I told the Aetna lady and he cracked up

I am pretty well set on my equipment for now. I MAY splurge and buy me a new Jones Classic stand bag. But then again my 20+ year old one is doing fine. My league bud is a fitter for PGASS and I am supposed to go up maybe next week and look at and hit the new TM Qi 10 driver. But then again I am practical and can not justify $600 for a driver.
