Just saw they're not going to play today at Pebble. Gonna play tomorrow instead. At

least they didn't call it after 54 holes. There must have been some bad feedback on

that idea.

Just saw LIV is playing on the CW channel, which is free, so I added it to my streaming menu

and am now watching LIV live since the PGA Tour called it a day in Pebble.

Considering they postponed and the weather here looks just like it does at Pebble… Think I’ll actually check out some of they 54 hole action 🤷🏼‍♂️

On this LIV broadcast you can actually really hear the player and caddy talking and not

hearing incessant talking by the talking heads. I like so far. My first look at their TV

broadcast.

 

I watched a bit on the internet the first year but this is much better.

I'm all for allowing shorts. Don't get the "looks unprofessional" argument. Looks way more

professional than the long pants some of the guys are wearing on the PGA Tour, that are

too long or too short or ill fitting.

And what’s up w/LIV stealing logos to use for their teams?! Phil’s team got sued and had to change their logo bcs it was literally the same as a skateboard companies logo. Then I see Rahm’s team logo and… Holy Thundercats! SMH

I liked watching Rahm. But every time he came on today all I could think about was how he really didn’t wanna be there. Haha

Maybe Greg looking for a younger audience than us. Always hearing about the young

demo 18-45 being the most coveted  group.

 

I watched it for awhile today but it lacks drama and does not compel me to watch. The

problem is their tournaments. They are all the same and the atmosphere so laid back

it doesn't draw me in; especially knowing that these players are essentially hired guns.

 

Greg wants us to tune in for the names on the roster, not for of the "action". That only

goes so far. People will tune in but they are not gonna stay tuned in at this rate IMO.

I don’t think observation and judgement are the same.  He can’t help it , for sure. But pro looking attire does . Making it worse on purpose makes no sense. It’s looked at as “ rebellion “ in some circles. But I see it as a “ self own “ no?    All in good fun. Of course.  Wear what you want to.

I’m in that coveted demographic…. And yet I’m here. Taking to you guys. And enjoying it.  And I won’t watch Greg’s product  for any amount of money. 
 

gregs thought  process is flawed. He thinks he knows what the younger golf fan wants. All he’s attracted is 55 and up guys who want to reclaim youth or snag a younger girlfriend. 🤣.  I’m around 15-20 year olds daily. At least the males. They’re done with every one thinking they have no brain.  That loud noises and fire is all it takes to get their views.  They’re definitely done with the idea of being preached to about all the “isms and ists” …classes are erupting with debate.  And the teachers are losing.  I’m talking locally. Not some video somewhere.  
 

they can be approached honestly about the game. They don’t need to be lured or tricked.  A proper amount will pick it up.  And plenty won’t. No amount of nonsense will change that.  We don’t need joggers , shorts , music , or Jordan 1s on every foot.  The game  is enough.  Decorum is lax enough ( shorts are accepted everywhere) ….   My 2 cents on a place I’ve been to.  Gen Z land.

Oh 💯 absolutely! To eat your words that badly on a big stage is just pure gold. I made the “joke” when he initially signed that Jon’s wife told him “you better take that money Jon!” While she was driving home in her Mercedes G wagon after shopping all day on Rodeo drive. Thankfully NOW  they set for life 🙃
