Well if you are NOT part of the "in crowd of idiots" in that section then anything you say will get you dragged over the coals.

I’d say by design judging by the large canines I regularly cut my cheek with 🤣. Not to mention the werewolf fingers ( ring longer than the pointer ) ….

besides. You can’t run jet engine off weedeater gas !  I got that high metabolism.  I’m burning 3200 calories a day on average. Had two days last week where I burned 4500.    You have to pack  the protein on to fuel that !

I was so obviously jus kiddin m kinda surprised ya answered! 😜 Yeah, I love me some beef as well! Tho I do try to limit it to once a week.
Smoked a whole chicken 🐔 for dinner tonight. Have to say, it’s hands down the best way to enjoy chicken breast. No knife necessary 🤤

Given the apparent a-h-ness of such a disposition we may be in trouble now that Larry David is ending his series. Less to commend us.

But these occurrences at my grocery store might help:

In this area it would be a Moped better called a "Dewey (DUI) Flyer" or " Likker Sickle". Now in recent years they have cracked down as in they must have a license tag but no insurance required and the rider must have a Moped license which they can easily get even if they have lost their regular license for DUI or other traffic offenses. If you have a regular license you are covered with no special endorsement needed. Part of the deal was DUI enforcement. Before the state did not consider a Moped a motor vehicle. Now Law Enforcement treated it as such and made arrests but the magistrates interpreted the Law differently and threw cases out. Now they must prosecute. And in the last 2 years the cops have really cracked down and you see less of them here now

LOL on the subject of the jet engine and weed eater gas. Back in the day in Eastern NC those BS artists used to say oh yeah my big block Insert name of car is bad bad bad and I run it off of JP-4 jet fuel. OH so you have a diesel burning big block huuh? Hey BS genius JP-4 is nothing but highly refined kerosene. Now if you are running it off of AV Gas then I can see that. And believe it or not most would call BS on me. I would just shuffle off and leave them to their story and ignorance

LIV is going after an audience that doesn't exist.  They'll never get the young, hip crowd they are after.  People like that simply don't watch golf on television. Never have.  There's a reason all the commercials are about mutual funds and Viagra.  Hardcore golfers watch golf.  That's it.  Guys who wear their hats backwards, drink half a case of beer during a round and try to "Happy Gilmore" their tee shots are never going to sit in front of a TV for four hours watching golf.

Yeah I think you nailed it. I will admit I watch LIV because I like watching a lot of the players. Believe it or not even though I am an old fart I enjoy the party atmosphere. I watch but the last few years I find the PGA Tour broadcasts boring. I think it is due to the way it is being presented. Around here at my club very few young or old can tell you anything about the Tour period. In this area again old and young alike the interest lies on football college and Pro. Now the old retired Northern farts at my club keep up with baseball in the summer. Me honestly this time of the year when I can not play I watch any and all golf. In the summer the only golf I watch is the last day on Sunday after my Church duties. The only exception is Master's Week. That week I take time out of my playing to watch. For me being a born and bred Southerner the Masters is special for me. I do keep up via Social Media on here and News feeds as to what is going on at all tours. I do not keep up with any other stick and ball sports and have not kept up on NASCAR for 20 years now.

You know. It’s amazing how many times I’ve thought about that.  I follow several “ car shops “ on YouTube that do the same. Half of them are amateur-ish at best.  But their followers think they’re experts. I watch it for entertainment.  And yet. They drivin new vettes.  Range rovers etc. and I’m not talking these big baller channels. I’m saying I pay attention when they’re filming and see their personal stuff in the background.  I know an old man who started one in a body shop last year. Has 217k subscribers now in a years time.

but I have conflicts of the mind . I’ve seen how the sausage is made via YouTube and Google from a perspective of a Chanel that is demonetized and censored for speech that isn’t anywhere near worse than what we type right here. Googles war on free speech keeps me from wanting to engage.

heard them say this morning that Facebook was 20 years old today.  Seems like 100 years. But it made me chuckle that my business is 23 years old. So I’m one of the last to start , succeed and still running a business with zero social media presence. I must be ok at it. 🤣.  It also made me think that imploding ( figuratively 😉) the big 3 wouldnt be as hard for the world to take as you’d think. 20 years is only 20 years.  This started a conversation with my son this morning on the way to school …. He said “ what would we do without Google “. I said. Oh the things you could do before Google.  Being smart and inventive was worth more then.  Now everyone has access to the info. It cheapens it . It was amazing. He pushed back. So did I and we left it at a draw when he got out. To be picked back up later 🤣.

so you see. I can’t make myself want to feed the algorithm. If everyone erased their history and signed out .   The feed would stop. Until you clicked again.  It’s too much of a fake thing ( the feed )  .  I’m too curious to be in there.  My feed would be dinosaurs to politics.  I don’t need it. I feel like the negative is far greater than the $ potential.

sorry , not trying to be negative.  I guess I occur have just said “😁 camera shy “ and left it at that.

Blah, blah, blah, blah. Forget all that negative nonsense you typed. You’re overthinking bad stuff that happens to stupid people.

Just do it. What are you waiting for, your next life?

No one will watch your videos for the first 3-4 times (except us). but then it’ll start and a year from now you’ll get mo bidness, mo money and you can oversee a couple of guys and be making money while you’re on the golf course.

You aren’t getting any younger.

Blades’ intro song for his videos. 15 seconds or less won’t get you demonetized.

Heck, the Grille will feed you production ideas.

You need a countdown clock on your videos to keep them short. And getting cutoff every time in mid-sentence could be your trademark. So cool.

I agree and for me it is all about honesty. There is no set standards for anything in the golf industry these days. We do have standards set down by the USGA as far as ball speed and  COR speeds etc. But there exists no set standards as far as lofts or shaft flexes. Good example today among different brands and models a PW can be anywhere between 43* to 48* where old timers like me consider a PW between 47* to 50*. Part of it is marketing to the uninformed public and to of course to sell more clubs as in a Gap or approach wedge. The general golfing public is not as well informed on equipment or as equipment savvy as WRXers are. All they know is they hit their new Super Duper PW X amount of yards. On the past Callaway deal yes like you I call it dishonesty but it is now Marketing 101.

My personal belief is I do not care who makes the club or what number is on the bottom but if I can hit it and it fits my game. I can also give 2 rips less if Joe Golfer hits his PW where I hit my 9 iron

If you are expecting honesty from club makers, you are going to be very disappointed. They all are driven by marketing and prey on the uninformed which is the vast majority of today’s golfers. The loft jacking of iron sets today is absolutely ridiculous and some sets are being sold with two gap wedges.

I just finished working our Golf Historical Society of Canada booth at the Toronto Golf and Travel Show. There were a lot of discussions on how golf clubs have changed over the years. A lot of people find the old hickory club names interesting and sometimes confusing as to what they mean. First of all, the term PW was coined to describe a club that had around 50* of loft and was used for pitching around the green and was usually considered a 10 iron before that. The term PW has become meaningless. There are now more named clubs in todays bag than in hickory days (Gap Wedge(s), approach wedge, lob wedge, etc). In a typical set of irons, only 4-6 have numbers and their lofts vary widely thanks to the marketing boys. I would prefer everything was identified by its true loft but that is not going to happe.

I feel much better after my rant.
