Sweet, perfect time of year to come to town.

 

One thing we like to do on a lazy day is stroll SoHo, you hit Spring street and Prince street (west of Broadway) and the side streets, like Greene and Wooster)

 

Take in the unparalleled shopping/boutiques, galleries, all set in very cool cast iron architecture. Good people watching too, but it’s just a great time to walk and see cool stuff, and the streets are small and intimate

 

Plenty of restaurants but we like to hit Fanelli right on Prince if youre in the mood for a 🍔 or simple fare.

So my son bought a cert at a charity auction and gave it to me.  Good for 3, 45 minute lessons with the pro where I play. I really don't want to take 3, 45 minute lessons. So  I asked the pro if he'd give me 45 three minute lessons instead 🤣

Life is funny, isn't it?

 

In an unexpected turn of events, it now appears that we will be joined by RoverTigerCub in late December/early January if all goes well. I certainly did not have my first foray into fatherhood at 44 on my 2025 bingo card, but here we are. 😅

 

After a couple of days of shock, we have very much reached the point of embracing the responsibility that lies before us. Look, I may not have many answers at all right now on how to properly raise a kid in this world, but I think I saw enough of what not to do from my upbringing to know what to steer well clear of.

 

I'm going to bust my tail to be the best dad and guide that I can be, little buddy.

After initially taking some pride in not having any signs of morning sickness, Mrs. RoverTiger has been dealing with the effects of it these last couple of mornings. Not sure how this will affect our usual 8:00 Saturday tee times. 😂

He is local to the area and pops up all over the place, had a pretty good scandal with wife swapping or some such nonsense a few years ago. He was know to just pop into gyms and make everyone feel bad, he is old now (71) and still a large person at 6'7"
