Currently playing at a minor league stadium. Suppose to be 3 years. Ground breaking in Vegas needed to happen this Spring to meet the 3 year timeline. Still loose ends on the financial side. No shovels have hit dirt. But they do have ~a month to break ground so we shall see…

We have a pretty good sized Indian population in my area. So it’s not too unusual to walk into an establishment and see it on the TV. I can’t give an honest assessment bcs I literally have no clue what’s going on w/it!

Perusing the subs here and seeing guys talking about spin being off by 250 rpms, tweaking a loft 1° to hit a particular window and spin. Guys buying brand new sets and shipping them to their “guy” to be torn down and rebuilt to exacting specs before even hitting a single ball w/them and I won’t get started on the mind numbing nonsense in the instruction sub 🤪… And realizing that I’m playing a completely different game. 
For me golf is just a fun hobby and thank gawd!

I was silent regarding professional wrestling, and don't have much to add in relation to cricket, but a little vignette.

 

My grandfather was a classics professor who got a PhD from Princeton after the depression.  He was a world re-knowned guy for his hobby (I would guess amongst the 20 people who cared about his hobby) which was identifying Roman pottery and its origin and producer, like he would fly all over the world to give talks about this stuff.

 

He absolutely loved professional wrestling and when visiting my parents before I was born made it a point to meet Bruno Samartino (from Steeltown) when he was in town once.  And, oddly enough, he loved cricket and coached his college's cricket team and would get his grand kids out there with cricket bats and set up the wickets and we would play.  Not for very long because it really is boring particularly if you don't have all the players (which we never did), but there we were in a field with cricket bats doing cricket things.

I used to like professional wrestling back in the day but it’s a little vulgar now, much more than it used to be and it’s not the same. 
 

I don’t like baseball. It’s better with the pitch clock but I still find the game boring. Cricket I cannot disparage because I know nothing at all about the game.
