B330 vs TPx

Was at the club at the same time a Bridgestone ball fitting was going on. Numbers were very similar between the two balls off the driver only I saw about two MPH more ball speed with the b330 on most shots. Which brings me to who has compared the two balls? I have been playing TPx since it came out and have been hard pressed to find anything better. Interested in how they compare between the two in all areas.

Doesn't seem to be much talk on the new Bridgestones.

I switched from the TPx to the B330. I prefer the firmer feeling off the driver and I am surprisingly getting more distance with the B330. I dont know if it spins less but I have been hitting some of the furthest and best drives of my life with this ball...it just keeps going. I swing just under the "105 minimum" but was told by a Bstone fitter that since I am pretty consistent on hitting it solid it doesnt really matter. I can sometimes spin the Taylormade balls too much and I have found that the spin on the B330 fits my game perfectly. The TPx definitely feels a bit softer on putts but the extra firmness of the B330 doesnt bother me. I thought that the TPx was the best ball in the wind, until i started playing the B330. It just cuts right through it. I would however have no problem playing the TPx.

Id like to hear some more comparisons as well. These are my #1 and #1A balls, with the B330 currently in the lead.

B330 Tour is the best ball in the wind and as long as anything out there. I've played the TPX and B330 Tour along with ProV1x and basically they are all similar. Tpx is the best on short chips and pitches, Bstone is the best in the wind, and the V1x is just most expensive.

For me they both are my favorite golf balls right now. Like a few others have said, the TPx feels a little softer...Bridgestone B330 a bit more clicky, but still a great all around golf ball. Both are great wind balls and are better than the Pro V1 and V1x when dealing with wind.

I can play both the Bridgestone and TM with no problem and switch back and forth.

The S is higher spin and lower compression. The Tour ball is best for the high ball speed guys.

Even lower compression. The S is to the Tour as ProV1 is to ProV1x.

Pretty sure the B330 and the B330S have the same compression.

I believe I saw several posts saying that the B330S is actually better suited for the highest of swing speed players (contrary to what is the belief). I think someone had said it was one of the secrets that experienced fitters knew.
