Identify the right shaft for driver

I put together a list of all the shafts I have ever had success with:

Whiteboard 83

Motore F1 65

Aldila Nv 75

Black Tie 7m3

Stock R9 Motore 65

Fuji 7Z08

I came up with average specs for these to try to hunt for a new shaft: 72 grams, 3.0 torque, Mid/High Bend Pt, Low Spin, Mid/Low Launch.

What else can you tell me, and do you have any recommendations as far as shafts to try? Would love to get some insight about what I may like about these shafts that I am not aware of. I don't know much about the commonalities of these shafts.

Well, for starters they are all low launch & high kick shafts, also each one of those manufacturers has an updated/modern version of those shafts.

If it is a new shaft you need, I think you would need to determine which of those felt the best & go from there. I too have hit them all except for the stock TM motore 65, & liked them all, as far as feel goes, the whiteboard & 7M3 were very good for me. The newest whiteboard for me is the D+70x, it feels close to the OG but not as smooth, but depending how long ago you hit the WB, you might not feel the difference. The newer version of the 7M3 is the 75M4, the results are very similar, although the feel for me is not as good, feeling somewhat vague when hit, can't really put my finger on it but just feels a little blahhh.

I have had better luck with the newer Fujikura, Motore VC6.2 ts than the F1 65, & I can highly recommend any one of these 3 with confidence if you like low/low shafts. Good luck!

I was playing around with the idea of looking at the Tour AD BB, Attas Elements Earth, or the 6.3 TS. I had a 6.2 TS and it was too stiff in the handle for me. I also am intrigued by the Speeder Pro

Based on the shafts you listed, you will like the Tour AD BB in either X untipped or S untipped or tipped up to 0.5". I think you may also like some of the Elements offerings from UST or even the new 2KXNV Green from Aldila.

I am most concerned with feel. How would you rank the feel of those shafts? Best feeling shaft from the above list to me was the fuji 7z08 followed by original whiteboard

Also, would love to know if Tour AD MT is more similar or dissimilar to that group of shafts as well.

Each of those shafts offers quite a bit of feel, but I like the BB because of its active-yet-stable tip feel.

I was playing around with the idea of looking at the Tour AD BB, Attas Elements Earth, or the 6.3 TS. I had a 6.2 TS and it was too stiff in the handle for me. I also am intrigued by the Speeder Pro

Glad you mention that the 6.2ts felt to stiff in the handle, now we can work in a direction. Of the new options you list, I have not hit the Attas EE, the rest I have, let's see if I can give my assessment.

If you liked the butt stiffness of the WB, then you will like the Tour AD BB, I tried this in a 815 dbd & loved the feel, however, I did not go with this option, it launched mid/high & spun mid too for me & being a high spin player that was not what I was looking for.

The 6.3 ts surprised me, felt really nice & was mid, mid/low with good distance, but seeing that I already have a 6.2 ts, I did not see an improvement for me there.

The speeder pro felt similar to the 6.3 ts but it felt even smoother to me, it launched a tad higher than the 6.3 but spun like dream & really went deep & surprisingly went passed my 6.2 ts, I grabbed one that night from CPO, when it got here I fitted it to my new 816 dbd & was absolutely killing that combo.

Here comes the kicker, with all of the shafts that has been mentioned here, my gamer has not been spoken about, I layed this in my 815 dbd & bombed it like no other. The most underrated shaft of all, the Fubuki a 60x, ultra smooth, mid launch & low spin, I now have it in my 816 dbd & same MO long, smooth & in the middle & they are quite cheap now too!!! I apologize for throwing this in as well but it's a must try if you can!
