HOF:

 

MLB - Mickey Mantle. The best all around ballplayer I ever saw. Who didn't like "The Mick", even if you hated the Yankees.

NFL - "Sweetness" Walter Payton. Class personified. And a stutter step that depanted defenders.

NHL - "Mr. Hockey" Gordie Howe. A mean SOB on the ice. The nicest man one could ever meet off (I did).

NBA - "The Magic Man" Earvin Johnson. All those legendary games against Bird (a very, very close second).

NHL - Connor McDavid - will be the best player in the game no later than 2017/18

NBA - Lebron - watching the haters eat crow this year was awesome, right up there with the 16-0 Patriots loss in the SB to the Giants

NHL - The Great One, best player of all time in the four sports

Current: I don't really have any favorite teams or players like I did when I was young. But this is probably as close as I can come.

NFL:Danny Woodhead. Just because I've watched him since high school (my son played against him in both HS and college)

MLB: probably Dustin Pedroia. I just like the way he plays the game.

NBA: although I'm not a fan, it's hard to not just watch in awe at some of the stuff Curry does.

NHL: don't follow it

 

HOF: here I have stronger feelings.

 

NFL: tie between Larry Czonka and Walter Payton

MLB: Steve Garvey was always my favorite player. And I loved to watch Tony Gwynn hit.

NBA: Larry Bird. Was a die hard Celtic fan. Always hated Magic, just because he was so damn good. Appreciate him a lot more now.

Is this regarding the other game people from other lands call Futball? Here in USA and Canada the NFL IS THE ONLY FOOTBALL.

You mean I should have included MLS right? It really would not be correct to compare soccer against the other four pro sports.

Except maybe in LA , Portland, Seattle, or South Florida you would get some call for soccer participation in a thread like this.
