None of the players in the top part of the leaderboard has done much damage lately. The form guys in the field is a bit down. Maybe a litte fatigue after British Masters and not as motivated as the guys striving for the card or in a place in the playoffs. Let's see if Noren can keep his form going.

Marc Warren had a good performance a couple of weeks ago at the Dunhill Links, he played well enough to move himself 40 odd positions and secured his tour card. He started off well last week as well, seems like having secured his card has freed him up a little. Such a good swing, he really should be up where he is at a bare minimum.

Lots of guys on tour will tell you that Marc Warren is a much better player than his results show. There's got to be some type of mental block or something going on. Guys lose tons of money to him in cash games.

Shame that money doesn't count towards the Race to Dubai! It is a strange one, the one that I always come back to with him was the Scottish Open I think in 2013 maybe 12 when he really should have romped it. He had a lead and the support of everyone with 5 or 6 holes left and he somehow managed to squander it and squander it in style with some of the worst shots you could imagine from someone who until that point had been swinging unbelievably well. Hopefully he can figure it out, Scotland could use another golfer in the Top 50.

I have played the course. Not really a Tour standard venue. Simply not very penal. Marc Warren is a great player but lacks some belief. He also likes fast cars and the odd beverage. This may explain a lot.

Definitely not as good as some of the past challenges we have seen but still, credit to the European Tour for arranging things like this. It's nice to have some light hearted viewing ever now and then.

Hopefully Korhonen wins this one, he entered the tournament fighting for his tour card for next season and now he's on pace to get to the Race to Dubai finals. It's a good thing he had two shots on Sullivan to start the round.
