Four Tee Shamble Scoring Expectations

Over several years, regular scramble scores that win, with the same basic teams/players are 54-56.

This shamble will have four player teams with one person teeing off from each tee, and that person can not change their tee color through the round. Everyone hits a drive, and then everyone plays their own ball in to the hole from the chosen tee ball location. Single best hole score is recorded as the team score.

What would you expect a winning score to be, based on pure scramble wins being logged between 54-56 over several years?

I would expect the scores to be much higher probably at least near 60 or over. This format seems like it would be painful for the shorter hitters. Now rather than having the short hitter(s) play a safe shot allowing the long hitter to bomb away I would think the short hitters get stuck at the back tees making them obsolete from the tee box. I would be putting the best 2 players on the closer tees.

What would you expect a winning score to be, based on pure scramble wins being logged between 54-56 over several years?

Impossible to tell without knowing the ability of the players. Back when I was about an 8 index with a teammates of 10, 20+,20+, we shot 14 under in a scramble. MIGHT shoot even par with that group.

But I've also been on 4 good players, all under 5 indexes, that also shot -14 in a scramble, I would expect much better in a shamble. You just get away with a ton more in a scramble.

Assume a normal distribution of players to be in attendance. I would expect that 1-3 players can break par on their own ball, I would expect that 5-10 will shoot between 72-85 on their own ball, I would expect that 10-30 will shoot 86-95 on their own ball, and I expect that there are some straight up hackers who will shoot over 100 on their own ball.

Half the field are likely to be members at this course.

You would expect that a group of under 5's who shot -14 in a scramble, taking the best possible outcome of each of four shots from each location would turn around and play the same course, where they took only the best tee ball, and then played their own ball in to the hole would shoot better than -14?
