I have a special edition white/navy AF1 low that came in a lunch box that you might be able to find. I use a baby blue Jordan 3 in a 6c that is a perfect fit

How do you guys tie/lace them so the top stays open and it isn't a major PITA to get the putter in and out?

i've struggled with this a little bit. i've found that if your jordan is a high top, leave the top holes unlaced and just double/triple knot on the outside. i tried leaving it untied and stuffing the loose ends into the shoe but they would always come out.

 

i also tried lacing up to the top holes but BEHIND the tongue to keep the tongue forward, but that was a disaster trying to push the club head in.

 

what you could do is lace them outside to in leaving the top holes open, and then tie a knot on each side and trim the excess. it would then look like donkitdemarco's above

Issue I see is the tongue falling back into the shoe making it too small to get the putter back in without some wrangling. Just forsee it being a little annoying, but nothing major. Might super glue the laces to the tongue actually...

Trying to avoid euphemisms with the conversation is impossible, haha.

 

I'm worried the tongue falling back will make the hole too small and the head will get caught on the tongue instead of sliding in. :rofl:

 

We'll see once things thaw out and I'll figure out a solution then if I have to. Thinking super glue on both corners of the tongue to the body of the shoe will do the trick if needed.

No doubt! lol You could also sew the corners down too

Has anyone tried to put a Scotty Cameron blade style putter cover inside the Air Jordan shoe to provide more protection? I was thinking this might be a good idea. If anyone has tried that what size shoe did you use?

i'm guessing you'd have to have a pretty big shoe to put a normal blade style cover inside it. obtrusively big

That actor is actually a golfing friend of mine. Great guy and funny as heck.

 

I'm a huge Jordan fan and would LOVE to do this but my Itsy Bitsy limited is just too good of a putter for me. Sucks because this is an awesome idea.
