Cutting the length down would defeat the counterbalancing of this putter. You could do it, but the the swing weight would be very heavy then.

I think you should go 2-3 inches longer than what you usually use.

It is not the sexiest looking putter I have owned, my putting is killing me right now so I'm gonna try anything.

I realize everyone will have their own experiences, but I've placed probably 10+ orders from Budget Golf and have never had a thing to complain about. Great deals to be had, very fast handling time, and reasonably priced shipping. I can't remember not having an order to my door (in Northeast Ohio, from the Chicago area) within 4 business days, and usually less.

I bought items through their ebay store.

 

I ordered $700 worth of items. One item was not in stock but they cancelled the entire order.

 

I purchased additional overseas baggage allowance for all items after getting initial confirmation of delivery date (my sister was bringing them). I even paid for faster shipping to make sure items would arrive well beforehand.

 

They refunded the entire amount but no reason why they didn't ship the rest of items.

 

Sorry for rant but most of the stuff was going to be a gift for my dad that is why I went through all of that to have it here on time.
