I made 6 in a row once followed by 2 doubles and a triple to close out the 9. Things tend to balance out it seems.

Made 3 in a row here: http://meridianvalleycc.com/ First and only time I will play this track. Was in a college tournament. Shot a couple over par on a course without any guidebook. Which was the second low round that day. Just used the hole yardage and a very rudimentary drawing at each tee box. Think I made five birdies altogether that day.

 

Oh, and I didn't have a driver. The longest club in my bag was an S2H2 Callaway 3 wood.

2 in a row. However I did this 2 rounds in a row which is a rare feat. The last time I birdied 8 and 9 and had a 20 foot put for birdie on 10. I wanted it so bad my juices were a little high and blew it 6 feet past the hole and missed the putt coming back.

5 in a row for me, never came close to that since. It was during a twilight league match and every shot into the green was with the same club. After the third one I was laying up just to use that club.

A bit off​ topic but some of these round remind me of a buddies round recently. He made 7 birdies, easily his best in a single round............. And shoot a smooth 77. We were all like..Wtf?? :)

On a four hole stretch one time I went birdie birdie eagle eagle and late last year I had five birdies on a nine hole course.Lets not write about the double and triple bogeys I have had in other rounds.

6 and it happened last year and I have been playing golf over 40 years. Had just made 6th birdie putt and lightning forced us off the course and couldn't finish the round:-( Birdied the 1st 6 holes.

6 for me. I was in high school and played the back nine at my home club with my dad riding in the cart. I birdie 11,12,13,14 and get to 15. The hole borders a road and I hit a nasty hook with a wedge that clangs off the guardrail and fortunately bounces back down in front of the green. My dad says "Well, I guess the birdie streak is over!". I went over and chipped the ball in and then birdied 16. Shot 29 (Par 35) and it's still my best score on that nine to this day. That was in 1999.

4 in a row, at one point from holes 8-11 in a round last year. The rest of the round wasn't as great, and I don't think I even shot even par for the day, but it was a good stretch. There were two par 5s in there, hit one tight on a par 3 for a tap-in, and made about a 15 footer on the other hole. The pressure I felt on the next hole after those 4 straight was about as much as on the first tee of a big tournament, and this was just a normal casual round.

3. Weirdest round of my life. Scorecard didn't even look real. Had just carded my second 10 of the day, this one being on a par 5, then proceeded to go birdie, birdie, birdie. Next up was a par 3 over water. Hit it a little heavy and it hits the stone retaining wall in front of the green, bounces about 30 ft in the air and lands 5 feet from the cup, simple right edge uphill putt coming. I immediately think, ok just make this, then par 5 next I can go 5 birds in a row (since I'd recently become so consistent). Miss the putt obv to end the streak at 3.

When I was on the high school golf team long ago, I went eagle, birdie, eagle, birdie, on 12 13 14 and 15. The bad part of the story is that I tripled 10 and doubled 11. On 18 I had a par putt to finish the back 9 one under and I missed it to finish an even 36 on the back, which really helped my overall score because I shot 43 on front :/

Had my PB last week in the 2nd round of the league championship - 4 in a row for a front nine 31. Sadly I dropped a stinking 40 on the back nine and came in second.

I've never had two in a row, but I did start a round last year birdie-eagle. I was a 13.4 at the time. This year I've had 3 birdies on the back 9, which I've never done in my life, as a 12.9. (well, 12.1 after entering that day's PB for the course)

3 approach shots that were really tight, all within three feet.

25 foot putt

One Par 5, I was just on in two and 2 putted

 

It was really the most "in the zone" feeling I have ever experienced on a course. Playing 25 years seriously and practiced a great bit also so it was not out of this world for a single digit. I have never come close since

though so it is very tough to do.

 

The best thing about it was it happened with the regular three knucklehead's that I

had a weekly game with for years. Very special personal golf memory for sure.

I had three in a row two weeks ago, led to my best round ever, 76.

 

I played as a kid but didn't really start playing until about 6 years ago. My handicap is down to 7.2.

Not so humble brag given that this streak occurred 3 days ago, but 7 in a row is now my best. After starting birdie, double, bogey I then birdied holes 4 through 10, which included 2 very makeable eagle Putts that I missed. Then bogeyed 11 and 12 but recovered for a 66 (-6). I realised it was a special day when a 40 footer on the 6th dropped despite hitting the cup absolutely flying l.
