If Ping isn't offering the Dalehead in this program its a massive mistake . . . everyone wants a custom 009 and Ping has the head shape to do it. If its some funky revised Anser head its a failure of common sense.

Wow! I love Ping putters. I was really thinking about picking up a Vault anser 2. I read in another thread pricepoint might be around $600. Too rich for my blood. But so beautiful.

Huge miss in my opinion. Was really looking forward to this. Really hoping i200 don't disappoint.

The PLD1 is a distraction, a blip in the radar. It's not costing Ping all that much money to produce these since they are custom order. The real deal offering will be the new Sigma G line

 

 

All I have to say is this... if they offer the Tyne model in a CH neck, TAKE MY MONEY NOW!!!!

Does this face have grooves on it?? I can't tell if it includes TR Grooves, plain (rife style) grooves or just milling marks like old milled Anser model. Any info????

Looks like horizontal face milling. I'd much rather have the face milling that the Redwoods had.

For 600.00 you should be able to choose your face milling, preferred alignment aide (topline for me), headweight, and IMO, finish.

Instead, they're basically charging twice the price of a Redwood and all you get to do is pick your paint colors and add engraving to the bumpers if you want.
