Colored ferrules

Where's the best place to buy custom colored ferrules? I have seen a few sites but wanted to make sure they were reputable.

Billy Bob's Golf has nice colored ferrules. I recently ordered the bubble gum pink. Shipped quick. Everything was good.

Just ordered some special double red ring Hogans 10 minutes ago.

 

Golfworks obviously has all the standard stuff. Get on their email list and wait for free shipping special every 5 or 6 weeks and load up on the cheap stuff. Ferrules, reamers, hosel brushes, epoxy etc,

I recently decided to purchase some different colored ferrules as I was going to swap out shafts so I said why not. I bought these off eBay from a seller that had a good reputation.

On the flip side, what's the best bet for cheapest solid colors other than black, shipping included? A lot of places shipping kills it if just ordering a dozen.

They are absolutely awesome! Just looked them up on eBay and running €43 shipped to Ireland for 10! Think I'll stick with the plain solid colours ha

To answer my own question, looks like DTG will ship a dozen ferrules in a padded envelope for $2, and with their forum discount (I think it was for FGI members, but still) a dozen plain blue ferrules come out to $4 shipped.

For me, it's 100% cell-parts. Great customer service and great product! Almost any color combination you want, ringed or plain, and will even do custom orders if the quantity is enough. I started with them, and even though I might be able to get something similar for the same price somewhere else, have never even thought about trying.

I have the same exact irons, and have never thought about changing the ferrules. Is there a certain size I should look at with the 850F?

It's to bad I can't custom order a new set from the manufacturer with the color I want.

Couldn't agree more. And because their ferrules are so easy to turn down and shine up again (which matters to me because I do everything by hand), the finished product comes out looking better with less effort than others I have tried.

That looks like a good choice without pulling the head. Can you sand them to size?

This is the size I ordered for the 850F: 3/4" .355 ID X .545 OD TAPER

Once they are installed take a old t-shirt and acetone to smooth out and make everything fit perfectly. Or turn the ferrules with the proper equipment if you have that.

I've used others before, but Cell Parts is by far the best option and quality. Plus you can also custom order colours and rings to match whatever you want.

 

They are the only ones I use when building clubs that need that little extra touch
