I really enjoyed get this putter out for the first time this weekend. My last putter had nearly a two year term - i suspect this one will last at least as long.

i have a bettinardi studio stock 2 that i want to turn into a flow neck. Would i have to send Tom a flow neck shaft from another putter or he creates the flow neck himself?

I've gotten this question a couple times via DM. All you do is send in your putter and a spec sheet / mock up. Tom completely engineered a hosel for me, based in my desire for 1/2 shaft offset. He then mills and shapes it and welds it on.

 

In other words, it's not a neck from another putter. It's made to order based on what you want.

Sure does. The original head was 350g with the 15s. Once the neck was added it was closer to 370g. So I threw in 5s to bring it back to like, 352g.

As I experiment with this putter, I've thrown the 10s in, replacing the 5s.

 

I was afraid of the weight, but I think with mallets and the way the weight is distributed it might matter less.

 

Anyways, that's a way of saying it's now playing at 360/365, and it's perfect.

 

That little extra weight slows me down just a bit, which seems to result in a really true roll.

 

Those Cameron weights have adhesive off the rack. Once you rely only on the weight threads, and can mess around, it's get quite fun to noodle with.

Just got mine back from Tom about a month ago, added the top line as well and took the paint fill out of the parallel lines, looks very clean.

 

Question though...mine came with 10s and put some 15s in, I tend to roll it better with heavier putters. Anyways, did you notice when you changed the weights that they don't sit completely flush with the sole?

 

The weights I got were OEM and not aftermarket ones, so i figured they would fit flush/tight.

A little bit. But it's these weights themselves I think. The threading is weird. I just carefully twisted them in from a couple different angles until they sat snug.

 

Once I had them in there, I stopped messing with them.

Very good work. So much better to buy an OTR and do this then drop $1700-2500 for a "tour" putter where the only difference is these alterations. Well done.

For me it's an eye dominance thing I think. I'm right handed / left eye dominant. Plumbers and most mallets with full offset always look really odd to me. Center set or minimal offset is my preference. I asked Tom for 1/2 and he nailed it.
