MA44 I like the clean look

Ordered a clean MA/66 with 4.75* of loft. I can see a bit more of the face which is how I prefer to aim.

Pretty sure this is copper plated carbon. It feels very solid and sets up very well. Any “imperfections” you perceive are patina. Very beautiful.

I like the head cover...BUT, I hate any cover that has Velcro instead of a Magnet.

Normally I agree, but I prefer Velcro with a carbon putter.

Thats one of my favorite things about my Mannkrafted headcover is the magnet closure.

I do like the snapfit covers a whole heck of a lot. I will say this rose and fire cover is the best Velcro one I’ve ever seen. I’m no Velcro expert, but this one seems to be worth the cost of admission.

Pulled my Rattler apart last night to change out the shaft and grip. First time having it apart and had a chance to throw it on a scale... never knew the headweight. I kinda suspected it was more around 360 365 with the long rebar neck, but it weighs a perfect 355. The black shaft had started to chip so I'm going to a chrome shaft, and wanted to try a different grip coming into my 5th season playing it. I do want to try and remove the stock Pure grip with the Mannkrafted logo off the black shaft and hang onto it... but I've been wanting to try a Flatso 1.0 on it which is a grip I like and have on a couple other putters.

Pure grip should come off easy with an air compressor.

Got my Rattler done this weekend, chrome shaft installed. I ended up grabbing a super stroke pistol tour model, which I hadn't seen before. I have used a couple flatso 1.0s, but even they are quite large, so when I saw the tour size is available, and in a pistol shape to help fill the grip on the upper hand I had to grab one. Very happy with how it feels as a nice in between size. Pic shows a couple grips for size ref.

This one was just in a batch of Rattler heads you had posted on IG, and your caption was along the lines of "which necks would you like to see on these heads" and I replied about the rebar flow neck having seen you post one previously. Then shortly after you posted the heads again, this time with necks welded on, and I reached out to inquire about this one. I have the black/grey camo fabric headcover with this one, with magnet closure that has help up incredibly well and is still going strong. 

 

The grip I actually ended up getting from the Jungle website (amazon) after a trip to the local shop where they didn't have any of the pistol tour models in stock. I'm quite happy with the little refresh as I head into my 5th season using this awesome putter!

I’ve bought, sold, and used a lot of putters from almost every maker over the years. I’ve never putted as good as I have with this Rattler. I don’t even practice putting with it and it still works. Maybe I just got lucky with the specs on it or something. Last three rounds (before yesterday) I played overall lousy golf (you know…some duffed iron shots and some embarrassing pop up drives…that kind of crap) and the putter somehow kept me in the 80s every round. Yesterday I hit the ball a little bit better, but definitely not good enough to shoot the final 80 on my card. I stink at golf, but this putter is making my scores look a little better than my skill level. Once the irons and driver come back around, if they ever do, look out because the putter is there.
