Finally got to play a round with my MA66 and it is stuck in the bag. It has such a great solid feel and sets up perfectly. Seriously, if you're on the fence, get off and get your order started. You will not be disappointed.

Here are some pictures of my long neck ma 66. Went with a carbon head with no finish so it’ll rust up nicely. Lamont was excellent to work with and discuss things throug with. It shipped out today. I can barely wait to roll it.

placed my order on his site on June 1. any haven't heard a peep except for order confirmation. I know he has the head in stock but has to fabricate a LN. can anyone help with a timeline? i dont want to harass him.

It could take a while lol. I love Lamonts work. I've had a few customs done from him. In the end you will love it...but it could take longer than you thought.

 

I want to add this is not uncommon in the custom putter business.

It took about 3 weeks for me. I read up on this site and decided not to reach out until about three weeks after I paid. He is busy, which means you are buying the right product...It is easy to be antsy, but when it comes to custom putter world, the wait is worth it!

I'm sitting at or near 5 months. Patience is a virtue. I am certain the end product will be worth the wait.

 

Always pleased to see others receive their customs and would love to see more pictures in the thread.

Mine was 7 weeks from order to delivery. But I ordered back mid February when I’m guessing it was a little slower?

I have two Calabash's. I also have a Surfside, two Yaupon's, two Ocean Isles, one Ocean Isle Shore, a Carolina, a Masonboro, a Southport and Southport Shore. Maybe a few others I cannot remember as well.

Very nice additions. Always cool to see 'upside down' stamping. Maybe someday I'll jump on that train. What finish adorns your putter Festivus?

 

Also interesting to see the size of the small putter keychain next to a standard size putter. Was shocked at the size when mine arrived. Had the little tike on my golf bag and it somehow fell off in the driveway. I proceeded to run it over with my car. She ended up with some uglies but Lamont would be proud as I hand softened the bumpers and rolled the top line a wee bit with a small file.

Gorgeous putter.

 

I had my clear coated to make it 'maintenance free', but have used Eezox (synthetic gun oil) and Sentry Solutions Marine Tuf cloths with great success on other carbon putters with various finishes.

 

Lamont recommened Eezox when I purchased my first carbon Mannmade.

Clear coat is a great idea. The blue finish will wear just like any other finish. I had the same torch done years ago, and I find the black ox to slightly more durable.
