ok so let me say i am a business owner and first things first, i want my customers happy.

i bought some nike shoes from them and wore them on the course a couple of days ago and got he worst blisters i have had in years.

let me say this, i like nike shoes and they r built so well in general, all i wear is nike, golf-tennis and so on with no problems ever.

i walked 9 holes and could not finish my round, so i called golf discount.com today and they said if i wore them i cannot return them, i said, say what? yep, sorry nothing we can do.

now i know i can call nike and they will them back, so i'm good there but the fact that a company that i purchased the shoes from will not take them back is absurd.

so just needed to vent a little, i know all the other companies in the golf industry that i have purchased from have always been good to me and i have been a repeat customer for it but not golf discount.com. never again.

I wold not take any back when been worn, just because an id... had some problems, shoes have to be tried and fit for you, not two models or feet are alike.

Instead of venting to a party who only sold the golf shoes that can't return them since they are used (Since you say that you are a "business owner" would you accept a return from a customer of used underwear?), you should complain to Nike instead.

Do discount places typically take returns? I know at Golftown they would do it on new stuff, but discounted shoes are usually final sale if i recall.

Pretty much standard policy. Wear it outside for 5 hours and it's yours.

 

Buying clothes over the internet is a gamble, and shoes are doubly so. I always buy the same type of shoe, Dryjoys, because I know my size and Footjoy is very consistent in their sizing and design. Nike on the other hand is not consistent (my experience).

 

Sorry for the bad experience but I don't fault Golf Discount.

The op has a perfect name.....This thread makes me want to go buy some stuff from golf discount.com......On a side note. Avoid the trojan company at all costs. A friend of mine said he bought a product from them and after only using it for ten minuets or so, a blister began to developed.....When he contacted them about a return, they refused to take it back just because it was slightly used.......I'm not sure if he has his own business or not.

First off how many of you idiots check the return policy before you buy something, or do you just buy it. Secondly how many of you idiots buy shoes from Nike direct, they take shoes back even after a month or two if they are causing your feet problems. Thirdly if you wear a size in Nike shoes it's common knowledge that they R going to fit A certain way. If you look online at Nike's website for Golf each shoe has a certain fit and these were no different than the other Nike shoes I've had in the past . Fourthly, i'm sure all of you have never bought something online and wanted to return it, used or not.

As a side note: I've battled blisters for two years and finally got wise (as a result of a WRX recommendation) and switched to Goretex trail shoes. Best equipment decision I made last year.

 

P.S. could me in as one of the idiots because I've never done a single thing that you've described above sourpuss. Probably because I worked in a running specialty shop for 10 years.
