Cleveland Putters not sold in stores?

I was hoping to check out the new line of Cleveland putters and went to both Golf Galaxy and Dicks.....neither store carried them. Dicks i get. Their golf section is pretty non existent to begin with. Golf Galaxy surprised me when they said they were no longer carrying Cleveland putters. They said they were 'transitioning to high end' whatever that means. I guess Cleveland needs to double the price of their putters to be sold in stores. Pretty sad that the only options GG carries are specialty Betti, Toulon, SC, TM, Odyssey and Ping. and these options are usually extremely limited in choices between the brands.

I'm sure PGA Superstore carries them, but any other option short of just buying and trying online. I was hoping to check out the Huntington Beach collecction and the TFI Cero mallett.

The Huntington putters have the best feeling grip in existence for me. I've been trying to find one for my putter and can't. I know it's a Lamkin but all the stores I've tried say they can't order it. The putter itself feels good too but I'm not buying a putter just yet.

I believe GG is sending their Cleveland putters to Dicks.

The Huntington Beach putters are good, and a great value! The TFi are interesting but nothing special.

Cleveland/Srixon is having some serious issues with club distribution.

The Huntington putters have the best feeling grip in existence for me. I've been trying to find one for my putter and can't. I know it's a Lamkin but all the stores I've tried say they can't order it. The putter itself feels good too but I'm not buying a putter just yet.

Have you tried contacting Lamkin directly? They might be able to help.

They used to have a strong presence at my Golfsmith before it was closed. Can't recall ever seeing them at PGASS, but can't say I've really looked too hard. Kind of stinks, but at a low selling price there's likely not much margin, and the popularity isn't there very much either, so not much benefit to stores to carry them, aside from the benefit to the customer in affordability.

They will have the same margins as higher priced putters.

They may not have the allure of higher priced products, but those not members of WRX usually don't spend $350+ on a putter. They tried to market a boutique high end NC line that did not succeed. I believe more stores just don't want to put their money in Cleveland or Srixon hard goods, and would rather fill their open to buy with Odyssey, PING and TaylorMade.

You may have to try the individual pro shops to see if they have them. Last week I went to one to try out some new Ping putters and they had some Cleveland putters. My problem is there are so many models of each maker the shops never have all of them so you can see which model/shape you prefer. It seems you have to try the model they have to see if you like the feel then take a chance on the shape you want and order it.

i was hoping to check out the TFI Cero version and see how it compares to my curent SC X7M. X7M I really like but thought if i could find something for a little less in price I might put the savings into something else in the bag. X7M on the BST.

I may just buy the Cero, test, and could hopefully sell if I don't keep it.
