The Taff is on holiday in THE KINGDOM OF FIFE (you have to shout this phrase every time)

 

Anywho... I'm visiting St Andrews tomorrow (without my clubs) so has anyone got any suggestions what what to do in the town, other than getting ratted in a pub?

 

Please bear in mind that I've got a wife and two dogs with me.

Will leave it until Wednesday then. I'm in St Monans at the moment so prob spend tomorrow drinking scotch and watching that Aircraft Carrier make it's way down the Forth

Visit old tom Morris grave and lay down a tee ... by the cathedral ruins

See the British Golf Museum. Walk along The Scores and see the castle ruins, then on to the cathedral to climb St. Rules tower and the amazing view. After coming down, pay homage to the Morris family grave. Walk back through town, stop at a bookstore and grab a copy of Tommys Honor, then on down to the Jigger Inn and grab a corner booth and read the first few chapters while enjoying a couple pints alongside the Road Hole. Walk the Old Course a little, check out the R&A clubhouse, then a little souvenir shopping at the Old Course shop by the 18th green. Go back down along the 18th fairway and watch the golfers escaping the Valley of Sin, cut through the lobby of Rusacks and check out the artwork. Come out the front door and head left up Pilmour and check out the house where Old Tom used to live (nice plaque in front). Head on to Dunvegan and enjoy another pint or two and check out all the photos on the walls and ceiling.
