Anyone else getting a bit frustrated with Callaway Customs delays?

I understand Callaway is going through a bit of a back order on the Epic and Epic Sub-Zero drivers with their customs program, but man this is getting frustrating. I placed my order on May 14th, and still do not have this driver yet. Callaway has sent 2 dozen Chrome soft X golf balls to make up for the delays, but it is still seriously getting past the point of frustrating. I'm starting to think the stock green isn't looking too bad at this point. C'mon Callaway......please stick your foot in someone's backside and get these freaking orders filled.

Not quite to your length but I ordered mine on June 1 and isn't even showing as processing yet. Luckily I have the green but would love to have the one I ordered as well.

im in the same boat, at this point i will take a green one and live with it. i got my 3 wood 4 weeks ago, and the callaway balls they sent me are nice but im still grumpy

I don't have a dog in this fight, as I have not ordered anything from Callaway in a little while... what is it you're referring to when talking about green and orange? I'm assuming a shaft option, but I'm not sure.

We are referring to the custom head color that you can get with the Epic and epic Sub-Zero drivers. Callaway has fantastic customer service, there is no debating that, however they really seemed to have dropped the ball bringing out this Customs program for the Epic drivers and not being able to deliver in a halfway timely manner

On a whole other note, not really sure why this topic got placed into Deal or No Deal..... Apparently we don't have the brightest bulbs in the Box moderating this website

So the delay in their fulfilling orders isn't because of a backorder on a custom option, but because they can't paint drivers different colors in a timely manner? That is crappy, but on par with my experiences with Callaway.

Heck, I've been waiting on stock apex irons 4-9( I know it has to go through custom) for a customer for 6 weeks, so I can imagine your custom drivers are taking 2 months. Crazy. But it probably means an OEM finally has their stock levels under control.

This thread has me thinking though... I've been wanting to try an Epic driver. Maybe if I order a custom color I can score free golf balls out of the deal every time I call and b*tch? I could live with not having it for a month or two if it meant a couple dozen golf balls. I mean, I have survived this long without one.

I just got a 3rd free dozen of Chrome Soft x golf balls due to the neatly 2 month delay on my Custom Epic SZ. Good news is I won't be needing golf balls anytime soon, the bad news is I've had to skip a couple of tournaments due to my lack of confidence in my current driver. Hopefully next week. Really looking forward to getting this club as I now have 6 awesome shaft lined up ready to be put to the test.

Ordered mine 5/17 no idea on when it's getting delivered. Spoke with Arnella, if you get her she is absolutely no help and has an attitude. Told me that no order has come in short of 4 weeks and that it never said 1-2 weeks lead time. Then she check and ate her words...ohhh I guess it did say 1-2 weeks. In any case I have heard too many excuses, no raw heads, no paint, paint doesn't stick to heads... fuuuuucking figure it out. How can they run a company with absolutely no deadlines with the attitude of it'll get here when it gets here and you'll be happy about it. No way of QCing customer service with surveys so clearly they don't care

They told me it might ship out 21st but they don't know cause the painting is third party...good fuuucking system. ??

If i'm reading you correctly, you'd rather them have a deadline of say 2 weeks and then just ship it to you as soon as the 2 weeks is up even if they can't get the paint to bond with the head?
