Selling a few reasonably priced putters to fund the 'magic one' (for me) that's (of course) not-so-reasonably priced. Also open to trades of carbon steel flow neck putters ,especially deep milled faces ala Mann or Xenon, that might turn out to be the 'magic one' (for me), willing to trade up plus cash too.

As promised, some 8802 action....A raw 8802, no chrome, just raw carbon steel. I was lucky enough to obtain this from an author that many of the old timers around here may have heard of. It was his gamer for, according to him, nearly 30 years. I received it from him in pretty ugly shape but with very few nicks or dings, just chrome that was chafed through on the sole and a bit of work on the top line. After stripping the chrome I planned on just blueing it but that final stage before applying the gun blue, when it's just satin carbon steel looked so good I left it as is and played it that way, oiling about once a month. I was watching European Tour golf one night and saw some guy using a Cork Tree grip and hunted one down from overseas and put it on there, $100 with free shipping.
Next is a MacGregor VIP Milled IronMaster model 600 with olive green leather ostrich pattern grip. Pretty solid shape, the milling on the face almost looks 'under glass', I couldnt get great pics of it but can try during daylight hours to better effect if requested. $65 with free shipping SOLD! Next is a torched chrome Ram FX forged putter with a 'strictly business' at address charcoal gray and a party underneath, on the face, and on the hosel of purples and blues with lime green paintfill. The matte finish on the topline takes out any glare and the forged head feels pretty darn good, sets up similar to a Designed by and is a great low maintenance soft feeling piece. A custom Wilson Tour Special I with Lamkin Sink grip. I ground off the toe of this putter to make this play more similarly to some of my favorite Ram TW's and to eliminate the pointy toe that these always looked to have. The feel on these have always been pretty ideal and the way this one has aged is beautiful, the old bluing almost looks like oiled wood. This started as a complete experiment and wound up being even better than hoped.
