Socal: Roger Dunn Santa Ana repair dept

Looking to get a set of irons reshafted at Roger Dunn in Santa Ana as I have some credit lying around. Anyone have any experience with them for a iron rebuild?I'm not looking for anything fancy like blueprinting or shaft puring......just looking for clean and on point with swingweight. I'm always a bit nervous about reshafting irons as I like to play everything that is factory spec. Any input would be appreciated.

I've never had any irons built there (I'm a diy guy), but I've had them bend some irons for me, and they seemed competent. They seem like guys who give a crap, anyway. Hopefully, someone else can chime in who has had more extensive club work done there.

Yes! It's Disneyland for adult golfers. I can spend hours there. I too have had random stuff there w/ loft/lie bending, regripping, etc. Never had in iron set built. Like you, I get the feeling that they are competent but when it comes to iron building, I'm always a little paranoid. That's why I always go factory build.

Ask for a lady name Juanita. She is the only woman working there in club repair and does a meticulous job. I can't say with any confidence that I would trust the other builders there.

She to me has terrible customer service. I drove from mission Viejo to pick up a tapered tip shaft and when I get home it's parallel. She even guaranteed me it was tapered. Sometimes I feel like they don't care

It's as simple as pull out a digital caliper and measured it on the spot if she could not tell by eyeballing it. I'll be surprised if any repair shop does not have several of these.

The tool is around $10 and could save a lot of guessing..
