I saw on twitter Walton said the CONFERENCE OF CHAMPIONS was gonna get 7-8 teams into the tournament, they'll be lucky to get 5

That game made me want to throw up...looked good in the first half until the last couple minutes and I have no clue what happened that second half. The defense is horrible, it just doesnt look like there is any effort. I love Coach K but his "zone" defense maybe the only zone that gives up a bunch of points. I really think we play better in man to man. This was a typical Duke/UNC game though, a good ball game and UNC rebounds the crap out of missed shots. I didnt see the final numbers but UNC usually kills us on the boards.

 

Hopefully this team turns it up a couple notches come ACC and NCAA tournament time. They have the talent but just cant stop anyone. Anyways, we will see UNC at Cameron Indoor in a few weeks and hopefully play better than last night.

 

On a side note, Grayson Allen does not look like he has in the past. He used to drive hard and finish and was not afraid to take a 3 but now its like hes looking to pass before he takes a shot. I understand he has all the talent in the world under the basket but hes a senior and leader and should be looking to take over on the offensive end.

Can't believe this thread is as quite as it is. Big win for the Pack last night on the road at a tough place to play. Had 19 turnovers and close to 30 fouls called on us. Big win for Keatts and company. Sure is working miracles with basically the same team Gottfried had minus a lottery pick... Sure wish Smith jr would have stuck around just one more year.

This sucks though that basically the entire B1G gets to sit out for nearly 2 weeks before the big dance. Really interested to see how the conference fares as a whole, and whether getting to play in NYC was really worth it (I’m assuming that the B1G gets a max of 2 teams in the Sweet 16, when they realistically should get at least 3, and probably 4

Another good win yesterday against my Spartans. 2x this year, both by double digits. Harrumphh.

 

Never much cared for the B1G tourney prior to the dance. For any team that has the potential to be a contender. They have to play three days in a row. Then turn around and prep for unknown team in the dance. Perhaps traveling to a far west time zone. And potentially playing on Thursday. Really compresses the recovery time after a arduous three days. Not entirely minding a bit of a respite for a week, thinking it could be beneficial. Always a slippery slope assessing whether the break is a good thing or bad.

 

WTS. Enough of playing the B1G tournament at MSG. It should not have been subjugated to the Big East. Keep it in the midwest (Chicago, Indy, what's wrong with the D).

 

Looking at the big 4 (UM, Pur,, MSU, OSU), all are capable of making it into the Sweet 16. And should. But along the way, somebody is going to get clipped. Off night, bad seeding, running into the proverbial dark horse. Playing Middle Tennessee State (!!!!). My Spartans better get there act together fast, or they'll be out before they should be. Shooting 38% from the field isn't going to take them very far.

I think Purdue with Carson Edwards at point are very scary. Cant figure state out Josh Jackson is unstoppable,Matthews covered bridges yesterday pretty dam good. Xavier Simpson has gotten better every game since december and makes this team go.

First time I’ve felt all year didn’t come to play and BC beat the guards off the dribble just as they did last time.

Really upset about this loss. Clemson not at full strength and I wanted a shot a Virginia.
