Pure Grip Air Installer $13

Was searching the interwebs and found the Pure grip air installer for $13 on Amazon. Seems these normally go for over $40 so I thought others might be interested. I ordered today but have not received it to look at quality but the seller is PURE grips and it's Prime so seems safe.

Except when I buy a new club and have to spend 20 minutes scraping the old tape off. Is double sided tape just leftover from the days of hickory shafts and people are too lazy or stuck in their ways to change?

Yes there is always that. A heat gun, razor blade, and lots of goo gone speeds that process up though!

One is plenty, unless you're planning to install thousands of grips, or plan to drop it frequently.

If they are steel shafts a propane torch is your best friend for removing old tape. I run the flame over the tape and heat it up until it starts to char and it will slide right off. I use a paper towel (with a gloved hand) to wipe down the shaft to remove the remaining glue. So much faster.

I found those to be junk. I have one of these for the same price and i love it. Well made and sturdy metal.

I do not use it enough to justify the membership. I live close to a hub so stuff gets delivered very fast regardless.

Did you have a problem with the Pure grip installer? I previously bought a chinesium metal air gun with needle that worked until the threads wore so much I had to epoxy the needle to the gun to use it. I had been looking for a needle like you found on ebay but just couldn't find one.
