Gary Woodland to Nike???

I recently started following Butch Harmon on Instagram. He just posted a slow-mo video of Gary Woodland on the driving range wearing the new Nike golf shoes? I can't tell if his clothes are still Under Armour or not. Anybody know anything?

I made a mental comment when I saw him on the putting green at a very recent tournament. He had on all UA apparel with Nike shoes... seemed like a very odd endorsement deal/set up.

From what I recall Woodland has never been an official UA shoe guy, I know he has always been UA clothes though. Back when he was titleist he was FJ with UA clothes. Not sure when he re-upped with UA if it included shoes or if its a precursor to a deal to come.

I think you might be mistaken.

 

Spieth has his own shoe line with UA.

Keegan Bradley currently has a deal with Jordan

Fowler with Cobra/Puma

Tiger has had NIke lines in the past.

Woodland wore adidas and Nike shoes at the Masters. He was still in UA clothing though.

We were talking about this in the Nike footwear thread today too. He was wearing new Tour Premiere shoes today (that just released a few weeks ago).

 

He wore them during a practice round at the Masters (with UA shirt/pants) and then switched to Adidas shoes for his Thursday round

He wore Under Armour shoes when he won the Waste Management a couple of months ago. Strange that he switched now, but it does seem like he would still be wearing Under Armour shoes if he was under contract to do so.

 

Since he isn't playing with a full bag sponsorship, it seemed like most of his sponsor money was coming from Under Armour. It'd be a little surprising to see that end, but I'm curious to see where this goes.

I am watching The Open, and he seems to wear Puma clothes and shoes. Does anybody know if he signed a contract with them? It is not on their web-site. And I remember seeing him in Adidas clothes and shoes a few weeks ago...

Ditto saw him earlier in the week in the Open Zone on Sky Sports with Claude Harmon and I noticed he was wearing Puma.

He was wearing full Adidas shoes and pants a few weeks back, which is the last time I saw him on TV. He has been a long time UA guy up until then so it caught me by surprise to see him rocking Adidas. Apparently, he is trying them all to see what he likes the best.
