But I don’t think if we played 4 days in a row, you would ever beat one. Maybe one day, one round. But Thursday to Sunday, probably not a chance.

As someone here eluded to. I picture the guy at ‘The club’  after a few talking about how he would take down an LPGA player. Same guy that will tell you he woulda been in the NFL/MLB if it wasn’t for his knee/shoulder injury in HS! 😆

It makes me wonder, would all these “scratch” golfers like their chances as much playing a male golfer with the same playing credentials as ‘Insert LPGA TOUR player here,’ who hits every club the same distance as the chosen LPGA TOUR player, or do they think they can beat them because they’re playing a woman?

I’m very confused at the point you’re trying to make. 
 

are you saying a scratch male player can beat 2 time major winner, and most certainly the most dominant female golfer on the planet for a 3 year period, Stacy Lewis because she played poorly over two days?

Do you mind listed the events? Sure looks like a major at the top, played in 30 mph winds on one of the toughest setups all season.

You are right it is a major. But people get their handicaps playing in tough conditions as well. Bryson on his channel said muni greens are harder to make putts on

A scratch player would have been eaten alive at the KPMG at Fields Ranch East. Only three LPGA pros finished under par. The cut was at 7 over. You think a scratch player would have shot par or better? Lol.

In tournament conditions.  Under pressure.  With cameras on them.

 

Go read the articles with comments from the famous scratch and + index celebs/ex athletes that have actually played against the women in tournaments.  They all freely admit, after the women destroyed them in those tournaments, that the average scratch amateur has no hope of hanging against a solid LPGA player.  And that it wouldn’t even be close.

 

BTW, have you ever played with an elite female golfer or walked a round with one at an LPGA tournament?  Just watching their ball striking is enough to know that they’d wax the average country club scratch by a country mile.

Yup, breakfast balls, wrong drops, put me down for double when it was going to be a snowman, etc. I think the biggest vanity caps are 0-4 handicaps IMO

This is getting away from the topic at hand, but the "give me a double" is driven by the handicap system where net double is the highest you can take on a round you post for handicap. For a 5 handicap, that means his max score is a double on all but 5 holes, maybe a few more depending on the course. I've never agreed with the Equitable Stroke Control system.

Bro above us should seek medical care. He's definitely suffering from delusions. At one time I was a +3 on a course that hosted a LPGA Tour event. At no point did I ever believe that I could beat any of the 150 or so players in that field. The only people who think any post-collegiate amateur could hang with a LPGA Tour player are people who've never been close to actually good at golf.
