Probably not a great deal, but it was a sweet deal to me. Was shopping for a new driver a few weeks ago (some of last years models that were on sale). Called some shops to get some prices. Found a brand new Mizuno MX-560 with a fuji e360 shaft for $100.

Just scored a set of the 2009 Launcher combo irons on ebay for just under $350 shipped. Advertised as the 6 iron only being hit and got them today and they were all still wrapped in plastic. I think it was a great deal since the hybrids themselves are worth around $130 each. :yahoo:

This was a local guy who just wanted to sell his old putters. I first bought a Santa Fe that was older and cut way down for $50, during that sale he offered me this one for $75, but I didn't have any more cash. I then saw that he re-listed it for $50 and bought it. I told him that he could easily sell it here for $120, but he said he was too busy and it was not worth the hassle. It didn't look that good at sale time, but it has cleaned up well.

 

I have since silver polished it and re-done the paintfill. It is a keeper. There is still some silver polish on it.

Just got a brand new still wrapped 60* Bridgestone Copper WC wedge for $50 shipped off the bay!!!!!!

 

Absolutely love my 56* BS WC wedge, and couldnt pass up this deal. Not sure if it is the "variable bounce technology" or just the design of the club, but it is by far the best and easiest to hit wedge I have ever used!!

Since signing up for GolfWRX I have read a lot about Sonartec. I have been in the market for a 3 wood since I have been crushing my 22 degree 904f. Tonight I finally made it out to my favorite proshop/driving range to find an absolutely mint Sonartec SS-03. I hit about 25 balls with it off the mat and snatched it up for 43 dollars... I know I could have gotten it cheaper on eBay, but I couldn't wait to pull the trigger.

I picked up my Titleist 907 D2 with Diamana Whiteboard from a local on Craigslist for $100. I initially picked it up to resell for a quick buck, but I realized that this might be the "one".

 

I also picked up my Bridgestone J33 15* a while back on Craigslist for $25.

Ok I think I might be the winner of this thread... I got a set of mint condition Mizuno MP-32's off eBay for $0.99 because the listing had a bunch of misspellings so no one saw the auction. I just happened to make those same spelling errors :)

I'm killing the TM 4W. It's a tiny head to be sure, but I'm bangin' the thing, which is excellent this early in the spring.

 

Sorry this wasn't an excellent find at a local golf shop, but some times HOing an old club that's collecting dust can yield some positive results.

Picked up a new Taylormade V-Steel 3 wood at Sports Authority on the clearance rack for $65. Some very very minor scratches on the face from sitting on the shelf for such a long time but it doesn't look like it has been hit. I have seen used v-steels that were well used with skymarks and chips for $40 so I think I did pretty good.
