tw13, can't find anything as good

So, I jumped on the original Nike TW golf shoes when they first came out in wide widths. Loved them, still love them, trying to keep my eyes out for NOS somewhere. But my pair are pretty ragged, and I only wear them when I know I've got a tough walk ahead of me. Does anyone who loved the original AND has a wide foot, have a replacement that they like just as much? I remember slipping them on the first time and just loving the feel, and that is the same still. Not many shoes come in wide widths, especially the more sneaker style shoes. I've got Footjoy Pro SL's and they are fine, but don't love walking in them, have the footjoy freestyles and they just are alright. For me the TW's just were the right amount of soft/cushion, flexible and had perfect grip.

...while I never had a pair of the TW'13, I do own two pairs of the 15's in wide and love them. I think they are most similar to the 13's, but the fabric style isn't for everyone. Recently picked up a wide pair of the original Nike FI Bermudas for dry conditions and they are incredibly comfortable, ultra lightweight, and very breathable. I'm with you though, much prefer sneak style comfort over traditional "golf shoe" look. I'm definitely interested in trying on the new Nike Flyknit Racer G -- my experience with that style upper is that wide widths are not necessary because the sock-like fit conforms to a wider foot better.

i have the TW14s. workhorses. still good. just like you, i immediately loved them right out of the box. the nike premieres from a couple seasons ago were pretty good. if you go spikeless, i just bought some puma biodrives, which are just amazingly comfortable. there is a leather version of the biodrives as well, which i didn't think was as comfortable, but once i broke them in, oh yes.

i keep reading about the ecco biom hybrid 3s, but i have enough shoes for now and need to stop.

...the tongue (or lack thereof) in the FI Premieres can be very annoying for those with wide feet when trying to slip them on, if only they had more traditional tongues or even just a bit more flex to the opening then they'd be good for us Flinstone feet folks!
