M3 driver weight won’t slide into fade position

Just got my new M3 driver from TM. I loosened the weights to split them in the fade and draw settings and neither weight will slide onto the fade side. It’s like the channel is too tight on that side.

Anyone have this happen ? Fix ?

Update. Was able to get one of the weights over to the fade side. But now it won’t slide back. And if I wanted to put the 2nd to the fade side no way. Just way too tight. Wonder if they applied too much gray paint to the channel?

I'd take it back to wherever you bought t and have it returned for warranty.

looking at mine I have no problems, can ou not fully unscrew the weights to take them out?

I custom ordered it through Golf Galaxy and was sent directly to me by TM so there would be no issues returning it. I just hate to be without a driver for a few weeks while waiting on a new one if there was a quick fix.

I did the Utry it program on GlobalGolf and that head never had any issues and also borrowed one to demo at my local fitting center and local shop. Neither of their heads had the issue either.

looking at mine I have no problems, can ou not fully unscrew the weights to take them out?

Yeah I can remove the screw from the weights and the top part of the weight slides freely in the top track. I found out that It's the bottom portion of the weight that fits too snuggly into the bottom track on the fade side. No issues in the front track or heel side. There looks to be some sort of seam in the track in the front part of the fade side that may be holding it up from sliding but I can't verify for sure. and I am worried that if I try and file that down I could ruin something and avoid the warranty. I was hoping if i could just get the weight to slide through there once it might free it up but no dice thus far.

they should just swap it out for you at the store if it is a warranty job. Every warranty job I have done, they send the replacements first, then we send the old club back.

I have not messed with a M3 ...but if it shares the same weight and track

system as the R15 or M1....(can't remember which one , but it was the one

you had to hold and tilt at a special angle to get the bottom sliding weight

out). If the weight was installed upside down , you could get it in the track

but it would not slide. There was a very subtle difference in the shape, and

actually looked like the upside down position was the way it was supposed to go in. Had some one bring me a head with heavier after market weights he installed

that had that " no slide problem "

Galaxy doesn’t carry any M3 12*. Just 9’s and 10.5* that’s why I had to special order if.

Weight is not upside down. This was right out of the shrink wrap it wouldn’t slide over to the fade side.

UPDATE... I was able to get both weights over to the fade side but it takes using the wrench as a pry bar to get it there.
