No. The AVX is a 3 piece ball with 352 dimples. The 5 Pro V1x (Koepkas ball) balls listed on the USGA conforming ball list are all 328 dimple 4 piece balls.

No not 2015. There are 5 different conforming versions of both the Pro V1X and Pro V1 on the USGA conforming ball list. They are differentiated by their side stamps. See below.

i always wondered what the marketing deal with this is. do they need brooks consent to advertise that its the ball of the pga tour champ if hes not under contract to play the ball? is it only if they used his pic (image rights)? got me thinking what if xander won under contract from callaway but is still using taylor made clubs? can TM advertise that its the winning clubs as long as they dont use his image?

It's probably OK since they didn't use the name. Just a statement of fact while carefully dancing around his name and likeness. Just cuz he didn't sign an endorsement deal doesn't change the fact that he used it. I'm not sure why he doesn't have anything other than Nike though. Maybe he just feels like it's enough and he's just low key like that.

If Titleist were paying BK they would be able to use his name in advertising his US Open and PGA Championship wins. They (Titleist) aren't doing that.

Yep. As in there are many on the conforming list. A lot still play the 15 version. Which I loved much more than the current ball. Better off Driver. And still had stopping power.
