Changing from graphite to steel in irons

So if I replace my 95 gram Steelfibers in my irons and go with 105 gram C taper lites so 10 grams heavier how much weigjt would need to go in tip or head to keep same swingweight? I was told 9 grams in shaft is 2 grams in head to keep same SW.

Just curious - why would you want to go back to steel? The future is here and it's graphite.

That rule about shaft weight influence on swing weight is useless - forget it. It completely ignores variations in shaft balance points - which can range all over the map and make a big difference in the results. Only way to figure it out is with a dry fit test on a SW scale (or maybe some of the more advanced online tools that can account for shaft balance point). But based on some limited experience (I have worked with the SF's relative to many other shafts, just not the c-taper lites) - I wouldn't expect you to need much adjustment at all. They actually balance very similarly to the heavier KBS Tours. I would expect the c-taper lites to be similar as well.

You shouldn't have to add any weight to the head in this situation. You're moving to a heavier shaft, so that will increase the swingweight. Plus the SteelFibers are a little butt-heavy which causes the swingweight to be even a little lighter than most other shafts, so I would expect the swingweight with the C-Tapers to be a little heavier than before without adding tip weights.
