Tiger looked under the weather this morning. Like his sinuses were bothering him or something.

there were some times he looked stiff, who knows, colder, maybe hes under weather, jet lag, bad bed, some combo. but there was never any indication of pain, which would be a bigger flag. even people with no serious back issues can have stiff days at 42.

There was also a particular moment off the 6th tee where he hit and driver left of the green and kind of hunched over and looked at the ground. When I saw that it looked a little suspect.

 

But yeah Tiger has already had a few days on tour when his back isn't moving as well as other days.

I noticed that when he was announced at the Opening Ceremony he stood up from his chair very slowly and deliberately. That long flight last Sunday night over to France couldn’t have been good for his back.

Tiger certainly didn't look like he was feeling his best today. Whether it was his back acting up today, or he's simply tired, or sick or a combo of all those things, he just didn't look like he felt great out there today. I was laying in bed watching them tee off last night and even my wife goes 'Tiger looks exhausted'.

 

I'm wondering if his back was tight or just not feeling right and it forced him to wake up even earlier than normal to get to the trainers to try and get it loosened up with some extra PT. As he's said in the past and as anyone with back issues/spinal fusion can attest to, you'll have good days and bad days and it's hard to predict when those will be.

 

Either way, he looked like he wasn't feeling great today and his intensity seemed to be lagging.

lol he didn't fistpump last tournamenet cause he had the lead all the way, if there was more pressure and he was tied with Rory down the stretch you would have seen a big fist pump after a huge putt
