You Americans are lucky to have the opportunity to chose. Canadians (and us Swedes) doesn't really have that opportunity unless we would decide to move to a different country :(

Well, moving to a place in the USA where it snows, to a place that doesn't practically is like moving to another country.

 

I had to go to Mobile, AL for work last year. Those guys practically speak a different language.

My routine is surf in the morning, then golf after work in the afternoon.

 

A cold climate in winter would make both pursuits extremely unenjoyable.

We received 8-inches of snow last night in western Massachusetts. That’ll put and end to the 2018 golf season around here. Last year we played on December 8th. Not so lucky this year.

This was me in Jackson Hole for 6 years. I snowboarded over 100 days each winter, but eventually got over 6-7 months of snow. Now, I’m moving to the beach. Shred on though man, shred on.

Just found out our membership voted to redo the banquet hall/lounge area. That's the area where we have trackman/nets set up so we can play on a sim all winter and we just lost that from January onward. Ugh.

I feel your pain. If the winter lasts like it did last year, it is just under 5 months until we are able to play again. Move over golf, it is alcohol's time to shine.

Amen. Moving from PA to NC was the best decision that I ever made. You northerners have stronger wills than me.
