Supposedly there will be an 18 hole Tom Fazio golf course. Has anyone heard anything?

Anyone happen to know anything about this or the other course that is being developed on the island? Google doesn't seem to produce much information.

 

Going to St Kitts in October and wasn't planning on any golf, but might change my mind if this course opens by some miracle.

I have been to st kitts yearly for the past 5 years. Every year they talk about this course but I havent seen them break ground yet. Things move extremely slow on this island so chances are it wont be open.

They have broken ground. They just started controlled burning to clear out the land for the project. Desalinization plant is about to start as well. It maybe 2 years before this is done, however, given "island time". This is a picture that a friend sent me of them starting the process of burning off the scrub.
