Ultra light steel iron shafts

GS75, Ns PRO 850GH....etc

I always wanted to try those ultra light steel shafts instead of graphite shafts for my irons. But, I have no idea how they play. I wanted to demo them but no shop here seems to carry them.
Anyone uses them in your irons? How do they play compared to low-torque graphite iron shafts? Which one would you recommend between GS75 and NS PRO 850?

I did not like GS75. I have tried NS Pro 950 but have not NS Pro 850. From what I understand after talking to Nippon, 850 play little softer with slightly higher trajectory. If you like the smooth steel shafts, you cannot go wrong with Nippons. 850's are hard to find in most OEM irons.

why not try dynamic gold superlites. I have them in my R7tp's and they play really close the Dynamic Golds

I tested all the DG shafts after playing S300 for a while and went with Nippon as they were so smooth NSPRO 100 in 775.cb

both are perfect for the golfer looking for that steel feel and control but in a ultra light weight. tip soft and aid in getting the ball up.

slow swing speeds with good tempo.. will like them.

I have the Nippon 850s in my Miura 301s and a set of Mizuno mx23s. I love them. They have great feel and do help with launch, but with the Miuras I can keep the flight down if needed, but not as down as I could with a stiffer tip shaft. Super quality, however they are not as light as graphite and you can have longer lengths with graphite, too.
