Odyssey Japan Toulons

Looks like Odyssey has been giving Japan all the cool putters and full face patterns. Hopefully we'll see this next year (Las Vegas with plumber neck please!

A Toulon Las Vegas will be mine if it has a plumber neck at release. As for the face, those pics don't show it well but it's the same pattern as the traditional Toulon face milling, just across the entire face.

Following this page.....need to know when I can get that new Austin with the flange sight line....saw the Japan site and they look so clean with the full face milling.

I guess my question is a full milled face needed? I thought the goal is to strike the ball in the center of the face? who cares about the entire face being milled. JMO

Of course it isn't NEEDED. But it's hot as, and is definitely WANTED.

I don’t mind the odyssey logo but “odyssey” in the cavity is lame. Should of been Toulon instead.

Not sure what the play is here with that? Completely de-values the putter. Nobody is going to pay the existing price point for a now retail odyssey offering.

I just saw them at our local Japan store, very nice with the extended face milling. The Las Vegas is awesome looking but they are expensive here...about $480 dollars.

So, it looks like the full milling faces WILL use the odyssey logo and not the Toulon one like previous year. Hmmm...I was curious if that would be Japan only. Guess not.

Personally I don't like that idea. Toulon was always a premium brand and I don't think they will gain anything by changing to the Odyssey label.

Having Odyssey on the weight plate was enough imo. Having it emblazoned on the back of the putter reduces the perceived value of the Toulon brand.

Guess I'll stick with the two I have. :)
